With this latest update, I've done it as you said and the only thing not working is Oxide. Everything else works.

Im getting something while actually making the server live where it stops at " assetwarmup (7892/11682)" and it suggests i forgot to turn fallback off. what must i do chat?
Mine did that but I left it running while I made a coffee n when I came back server was up and running

What kind of specs would I be looking at for making a 200-300 pop server?
Probably just go for a paid host to do everything for you if youre gonna be making a 300pop

@@rupert.h0lland Depends on the region tbh, for asia hosts ask for more money for some reason. Just google rust server host and choose something reliable. Also 300 pop is gonna cost much more.
Out of interest, do you have any pointers on how much computing resources this takes? What kind of computer for a very modest 1-3 player server?
for 1-3 players, 4gs of ram should be enough so you can run the server on a laptop
Would always recommend 4gb-8gb of RAM for a playable experience with that many people.
Thankyou both. The system I currently have earmarked for it is far exceeding that spec but i was wondering about ultra low watt stuff. I'll test with existing HW and see

Try using your local port to connect or your ipv4 to connect on the host machine
when and where can i choose the map
You can look up map seeds on google and you want to change the map size to the same as the seed that you find is using there is a few websites that let you preview maps before you change the seed to those maps.
You can go to rustmaps dot com, and then there you can choose map size and select what map you like and then make sure you set your map size the same and the map seed and restart the server and you should notice a entire new map, keep in mind changing the map does not wipe peoples inventory

That seems to be a issue with the Anticheat, make sure you verify game integrity and make sure your graphic drivers are all up to date if after that its still a issue add this to your start.bat also +server.secure 0 +server.encryption 0 +server.eac but warning: this will disable your anticheat completely on your server so this is a last resort but if its for you and your friends you won't have to worry much about the anticheat but I recommend the first 2 solutions prior to doing this.

Have you made sure to check your rcon password is correct? and the ports are all open?

make sure the ports are open. seems like the TCP port isn't open and make sure that both TCP and UDP are open.
