Hi, question, is clearing out all map is enought to unlock all skill tree? Like making all map 100% enough to give you skill points? Or is there other way to get skill points
Yup. You can get skill & stats scroll from chest, cat collecting, shrines, defeating fugitive, liberating towns, training (glider, firing range, horse archery) and doing ronin & bond mission. The remaining stats & skill scrolls getting from trader, gambling den, cat merchant, karma level up, defeating special enemy etc.. is suppose to convert and use in midnight difficulty which unlocks the breakthrough skill tree.
Also guys make sure to hunt down the 9 enemies on the regular difficulties and then do the same on midnight they each give you 1 skill point in each category so that’s so worth it will make you max out your character faster

@@davidtsmith33 they scale so no matter what they’ll be hard at least on midnight on regular difficulties I don’t think they are that hard make sure to do all of those fights on midnight and on whatever other difficulty so you get a whole lot of skill points
🤔 if I’m not mistaken, there’s a level recommendation for all the missions. So as long you are above it + with red tier gears, it should be easier. And if you max out the breakthrough skills, it should be even more easy. I will try to make a video if i can come up with something or find anything that will make it easier 😅…
Thanks. Bookmarked. They really upped the difficulty in Midnight so much it's easy to get killed and lose your hard earned karma. Especially with the bosses added in the areas and regions IMO. Fot example this one at timestamp 1:26 , the blond haired boss. He killed me so many times and ate my precious karma I eventually had to sneak assassinate him and run like hell away like Usain Bolt just to retrieve my karma. I'm leaving him until I level up much more before going back to that area and him. I finished the game at level 62 and went after him around that level. I'm at level 66 right now from doing some tedious farming but still afraid to go back for them/him at the moment. I'm finding it very difficult at Midnight with trying to clear these public order areas with the bosses now included....and of course there's still the stronger version fugitives to deal with again. If I were like around level 75-80+ like you guys it might be easier but at this point it's hard as hell In the meantime. I been trying to put as many skill points as I can in the new Breakthrough skill tree but the skill points are hard to come by after using up all I had to spare.
Hunt for single fugitive and collect all treasure again. It will give lots of skill points. Going after secret enemies is also recommended. Just buff & apply 2 or more status effects. It will make taking Them down pretty quickly. Can watch my other videos on how to take them down fast in midnight mode.
Realizing there is no easy in this game you just have to get crazy good with the fight system. Some of the 2v1 in midnight is so frustrating because I always forget to use healing items lmao

Try going back to normal mode and check if there’s any mission you haven’t unlock in the long house. Once unlock, then go back to midnight and do it again.
It depends. If You just want to unlock the next chapter, you can do any bond or ronin mission. You just need do enough to fill the midnight bar to unlock the next chapter. Don’t have to complete every mission.

This is not working. I’m almost 90hrs into the game and I’ve done all the way up to the end of chapter one, repeated a few missions more than a couple times now done the one and only bond mission it will allow me to do and the midnight bar has been stuck with a sliver left to fill it and it does not move.
Don’t repeat the ronin or bond mission. It will not count. Once completed a mission, a mark will appear on the mission. So it won’t count anymore. Need to do only new missions. Once you do all the ronin mission, you will need 3 bond mission to unlock chapter 2.
Yup for midnight recommend starting 60 with most of the key breakthroughs skill max out ie stagger, defense, 1 combat style, infliction & poise. The rest is optional.

I'm level 69 and I still get defeated with level 53, so what's the point continuing. Looks like they fool gamers, when you are fighting a level 53 in midnight, in reality they are a level 153 or 253 🤦🏻♂️😏
@@9secter 😅the key is buff 💪 & dizzy 😵💫 status effects. Skill enchantments, gears set bonus & gear level also affect your damage & defense. If still having trouble, use range weapons & bombs 💣
Same. Me and Ryoma were good buddies and even lovers so much so he gave me the nice cologne accessory that makes sets "-1". When I bounce him up in that ronin or area mission now is like he forgot we were lovers and totally trounced me killing me with speed and bullets. He killed me so many times I can't remember if I eventually beat him or if I ran away to save face for another day. Midnight difficulty is the devil.

Is there any point in doing more missions etc when im on chapter 3? Because obv chapter 3 is the last so why fill the Bar right?
Yup no point completing. once complete you get book of five rings x10 that’s all which is not worth it by the time you complete it.

Can you reset the map again after or does it only happen once
If you select a different faction it will reset once. Not sure you can do multiple resets. Then in midnight mode is resets again.

Public order yes but not fugitives
Basically just get good seriously though get enough red armor to not get one shot and for the most part you should be good

If you are having trouble, use bombs💣 , poison bow and fire to deal massive damage. Will share a setup I use later.
