I just got this game and honestly is a lot of fun just passed the blade twin boss fight and am already so excited for late gane
Take your time, so much cool battles with fugitives. unlock cool combat styles and be ready. BTW watch my guide for overall best experience helpful for those starting out.
I started using the ox tail blade last night. So dope. So damn fast and fluid. Game is an absolute beast when it comes to combat variety.

Midnight difficulty is much harder than I thought. Finished the game earlier today and was all excited to go Midnight to get those nice Masterwork goodies. Started with Ronin Missions at the beginning "Vieled Edge Village". Got past that, went to "Infiltrating the Black Ship". Got past that unto "The Setting Sun" and this is where the shit hit the fan. After clearing through everything when it reached the part where the ninjas were attacking the old lady and was requesting assistance, after all the ninjas were killed and she then turned to me for a final duel before I could continue further, despite almost getting her a couple times she killed me with a barrage of attacks to restart that segment. Tried a good many times with no joy so unable to proceed further to next Ronin mission.
After getting clobbered too many times I tried the Allied Missions as suggested. The one on top. Them is some hard buggers with relentless attacks. Me and my two allies, Ryoma and another ally, tried our best but they got the better of us. Out of about 7 tries I think I only won one round.
I started completed the game and started Midnight at level 62. Is that too low or am I just so bad? What can I do to level up more and get some more skill points to add to the new skill tree in order to stand a better chance at surviving and progressing Midnight missions etc?
I'm definitely having a blast playing this I think I've got about 90 hours in so far

I started the game with an odachi (a classic Nioh favorite weapon) but I switched to polearms coz the odachi has limited stances start of the game. So far I am liking the polearm but might try dual swords next.

Hey quick question. So what is the best farming method when you max out? I just hit level 100 and is there a way to farm gear?
Love this game. I’m new to it. I unlocked the first dojo today and spent a few hours sparring Ryoma so that I could get used to the combat.
Real talk those dojo made me better on hardest difficulty its humbling. lmao learned a lot. hows the run going for you?

Where do you buy the gifts at I can’t find any to purchase? Please help me
merch vendors next to your longhouse or around the world, the other vendors, the gambling spots all have gifts. Also in long house you can get a ton of good gifts with cats and dog stuff. joining coop also gives you some. missions tend to have them also.
Question. In the Ally mission/s you played there and recommended for building up karma, plus of course getting some Masterwork gear. If you are in the ally mission battle and you die, do you lose the karma in the bar you're carrying at the time (as in the normal game) or does it remain regardless.
Yeah you lose karma regardless if your host or an ally. I’ve lost such a huge amount of karma when I wasn’t

@@SavageEntertainmentYEAH Daayum. I figured as much after winning a few rounds and then getting beat before it all ends. Then when I went to check saw karma gone.
What about if you win a couple rounds but before the last one you opted out of the mission and returned to your time? You get to keep whatever karma you may have built up by then?
@@davidtsmith33 yeah never tried that but I would assume you keep your karma until you die no matter what.
@@SavageEntertainmentYEAH Yeah I decided to try it out earlier today. Went in to do "The Enemy of my Enemy" Ally mission. And after 1 or 2 rounds decided to pause, go to Options and "Return to your time". Didn't lose any karma, plus kept whatever dropped gear etc.
@@davidtsmith33 nice! That’s good to hear. So as long as we don’t fail the mission before the next round starts our progress is safe
If you were to put a ratio on your dismantle to sell options with gear what would it be, considering what you know now? I have been about 50/50 spending zero on transfers or upgrading so far.
It goes person to person because if you not clearing map, doing side missions and stuff you might need more resources and so on so I say see what things you need more of and sell when you see you got enough currency. How are far you? also have you been upgrading? dont waste so much on upgrades of you havent beat the game is my advice.
@@MagGamerInc Lvl 53 I think, not been spending any resources, and not saving anything, just dismantle and sell, at about a 50/50 ratio when I start getting kinda full, zero in storage, gears wise. The vid lets me know now to wait till new game. I guess the 50/50 ratio will leave me set good
Yeah do not spend all your stuff to upgrade level level items. You will reach 100 player level than that will give you level 100 weapon level also. Upgrading a level 52 will cost way to much to make it 100 plus. Best to enjoy game basically.

I am almost maxing my stats, however, my karma is maxed and i cant get any additional skill point!! Anyone know what is the problem?
if you at level 100 character thats max. as far as gear you got to grind midnight for better drops. if you not at 100 character and cannot get more points via the exp than buy some skill points via vendors from gambling, merch, and NPCs. lmk how it works out. thanks for watching.

So in order to get Masterwork rarity gears, items etc you need to finish the game and the Midnight difficulty option should appear in the "Settings....Game...Difficulty" options right? If you don't choose "Midnight" you just won't be playing on Midnight difficulty and the Masterwork rarity stuff just won't be available. That's what I'm gleaning but just want to confirm.
Sooo....The first thing you should do when you finish the game is to put the difficulty to Midnight? Then go to Testament of the Soul and replay the missions which will be by virtue of playing on Midnight difficulty avail Masterwork rarity gear and whatever rewards. Not forgetting the Allied Missions for the extra benefits you mentioned. That sounds about right?
Pretty much the game won't let you miss the midnight mode it's a big display once irs available plus anytime in testament you can swap with R3. Very easy. Any other questions? Feel like you can do a video now that you know good comment cab help many people.
@@MagGamerInc Thank you. And thanks for inviting further question. One other thing I wanted to ask. You mentioned going back to replay missions including for whatever you may have missed to get rarity items from enemies/bosses. What about if you've 100%ed every area in Chapters 1, 2, and 3?...For example as I am doing as I progress (currently in Chapter 2, perhaps mid-quarter way through ATM). Do the enemies and bosses still drop the gear you already got from them in the initial playthough (perhaps now in Masterwork rarity) or they don't drop the gear anymore since you got them from them before?
100% the game is fine for trophy and stuff but yes once you are in midnight everything basically is reset and you will get master versions so running through content you will get top tier drops. I suggest farm your player level how I said in video get it close to 100 than go hunt for the gear you really want. @@MagGamerInc Thanks. That was very helpful. I'm assuming going to Midnight difficulty doesn't reset whatever you previously acquired right? Like accessories, skills/stats, combat stances and skills etc. You get to keep all that right?
the game design for this is awesome btw, nothing is effected at all when it comes to your character or anything but if you play story parts if you make different decisions the game will ask if you want to change your plot line to effect the story aspects. I love it so much.

I'll be curious to know if somebody maxed out the pro shogunate bond 'cause I'm lvl 4 the white bar is maxed out but won't go lvl 5 (I did all missions related to that faction, maxed affinities with ppl, bought stuff from their merchants etc.) Bug ?
Kinda late, but I think you gotta max out everyone's bond level on the pro-shogunate side.

@celest_art Did you do all the pro-shogunate bond missions too? You might also have to go back with Testament of the Soul and make pro-shogunate choices too. I got mines to level 4 that's and I still need to finish maxing out the bond for the shinsengumi

Where did you get those golden gauntlets? Played this game for 200 hours and never seen those before now. Nice video btw, helped me out a ton after finishing the story and not knowing what to do next.
Might just be you.. cause I started midnight at level 48 and it was easy for me.. also leveled me up real quick playing midnight

I ran through a bunch of matches, got to around 91 or 92 and the karma bonuses stopped coming in, so it seems like you can max out karma. I still need 10 levels on one skill and to max out 3 stances in the Breakthrough tree, so it seems like you gotta take an alternate path through those
I made it to 100 doing the farm. I showed on my live stream yesterday. check it and tell me, did you convert the rare skills points? maybe check your inventory and use the books and so on for skills and karma... might be the reason. LMK

Im at level 100 and i never received any new skill points when i touch the banner it gives me no new skills points even after missions

new game plus would have been just as good if not better to re-experience the game with all the exp and gear you acquired.
currently with no new game plus i feel i have to repeatedly kill and reset enemies for exp and gear in the beginning to the game and this game is SUPER grindy with the amount of experience you need to get. without it i wont enjoy the story

Those Ally missions are not easy at all. I don't know how you said you casually played it and watched TV at the same time and was able to get through most or all of the rounds. I've never been able to get through all of the rounds. After a couple rounds trying to do so and losing all my karma getting killed I sought to just get through a couple (say about 2-3 rounds), pause and opt out by "Return to your time" before I got killed and thereby got to keep whatever karma I gained from the attempt.
And as for the Ronin missions in Midnight I just can't seem to get past the last Ronin mission in Yokahama "The Sakura Gate Incident" in order to progress to the next chapter and area Edo. I been trying so many times but the final fight against Shogun Li and The Blue Devil team up they always kill me no matter how close I come. So shitty now I can't get to pass them.
Note I got like 300 hours on the game, I was saying you can replay missions put on a show and listen mostly watch on and off as you redo them. lol man you seen my streams and playthrough? i was struggling learning and humbled a ton wasnt a brag about the casually watching something. mainly saying the replay feature is awesome. hows the run for you btw?
@@MagGamerInc Regards the run I'm having a blast with the game except for this block in "The Sakura Gate Incident" getting past Li and Blue Devil, the last hurdle I believe in order to progress to Edo and also be able to do other bond missions besides the Tosa one. I've cleared all the public areas etc in Yokahama Midnight so there's nothing really more to do there.
I'm currently at level 88-89 right now. I've tried so many times to get past Li and Blue Devil unsuccessfully that in-between times I'm doing a lot of farming at Noge to Tobe, rinse and repeat building up skill and EXP points. I've just been able to completely fill up the Breakthrough skill tree with the exception of a tiny bit left for the Luck section. I'll be able to fill that in about 10-15 mins next time I'm on. I'll be giving "The Sakura Gate incident" another shot tomorrow hoping for the best. I realy want to get past that hurdle.
Oh and BTW I'm at around 425+ hours in the game now. LOL.
@@MagGamerInc I came back to tell you I understand what you were getting at before re the Ally missions. My grouse before that they were so hard was based on me fighting them wth the NPC allies. I remember you saying about co-op. So today I decided to try it (the first one on top) recruiting human co-op via the Co-op option. It was like chalk and cheese. We beat them fairly easily enough and for the first time I was able to complete the mission. Human co-ops really make a huge difference.
What difficulty did you do for the first play through?
My let's play channel is in link I was on twilight for my first run but this midnight mode is fun times for me. Love the challenge. How far along are you?
@@MagGamerInc I’m about halfway through edo , around level 30. I prefer to play on twilight but some of those bosses where you have to fight 2 people and the dojo missions I find the parry timing really hard and unforgiving so I drop it for those down to dusk. But over all twilight feels best and forces you to use all your tools. I’m absolutely obsessed, especially watching shogun alongside it. There’s a lot of depth in the combat and I find it more fun than nioh 2. Can see me putting 100-200 hours easily on this.
yeah game can kick your but which it has to me also its a learning process. btw do not dare to spoil shogun I am resisting watching until finale so I can binge watch hehe. If you like twilight you will love midnight I am deeper in love now. intense times just clearing a fugitive area at times. keep me posted also any cool things you notice you like to share? dont assume i seen it all always something different in games.
@@MagGamerInc don’t worry I won’t mention anything about shogun, although I have modelled my character on some of the outfits from it which is so cool. The customisation is amazing.

Last I checked this afternoon I was 225 hours in and character level 52 and just about towards the latter part of Chapter 3 on first playthrough. I haven't even completed the game yet to go to Midnight difficulty for all the spunky new Masterwork rarity gear and items. Main reason I'm so much time in is 'cause I'm 100%ing every area in every chapter as I go along including beating the special hidden enemies. I don't mind taking my time because I'm loving the game.

Karma farm works perfectly fine, nothing in this video got patched as of april 21 and Nothing i do is patchable for the most part I stay legit. no glitches or bug style guides. Only thing that can maybe get patched is the gambling trick which no one needs to do to be real I played game got enough everything without even trying. how you like the farm btw?

@@MagGamerInc oh ok thanks. I had to restart because I never saved my game manually and didn’t know if you start a new game it would automatically save over the previous game and I lost all my progress
Oh no. There is like 10 save slots. Just don't do that again. Also game auto saves so only save if it's important.

The whole "in just a minute end of the video" BS, I'll never watch another one of your videos again, just make your point enough with the "I'll tell you in a minute". I watched this video for a best method, not 20 minutes of you flapping your gums and 1 minute of what I was after.
This video was originally suppose to be titled " Over 50 tips for end game to max gear and character." It had overload of tips. I assume you only watched 30 seconds or less and or just trolling which is fine. If you really in your feelings and need a hug im here for it man. as for the issue saying video only had 1 minute of what you was after thats possible so maybe I can make 50 plus videos with one tip per video? or is it ok I make a jam packed video that will help thousands? Just curious if you think I should not do what i do and do 1 tip per video? that would most likely get me more views and subs but I feel a jam packed version is very helpful. its ok to disagree. either way have a blessed day.
