She is usually describes as ' an opera star' , yet I have never heard of her actually singing in any production of an opera.

Ashley, can I suggest that in your spare time away from reactions you might enjoy a much-loved sitcom we had in the UK in the 1990s called Desmond's? It's about a Guyanan couple who run a barber's shop in Peckham, London, and their children. The cast included Norman Beaton as Desmond Ambrose (the shop owner and around whom the show was centred) and, my favourites, the beautiful Carmen Munro as his wife Shirley and Kimberly Walker who played their daughter Gloria. Their son was Sean, played by Justin Pickett. There were other cast members too many to mention but they were all good and it was really funny, multi-layered and poignant at times. Of course, if you wanted to review it that would be good.
Oh yes Desmond's was brilliant.
I loved watching it grow up. One of the actors was in Buffy too.

@@colinstock325 Both were somewhat before my time, but I do remember seeing some re-runs during my youth and perhaps some of 'In Sickness...' .
Looking back on them both I don't see a great deal of difference between the racial language used by Alf Garnett and Eddie Booth. But the main difference I think was that TDUDP cast a far wider net on changing society, whereas LTN tended to concentrate more on the interracial tensions.
We could get into a discussion as to whether the intentions of either program (which I believe were laudable) were actually successful. But personally, just from the POV that I'm a conservative...I actually enjoy watching LTN more as I like seeing a socialist being portrayed as the kind of hypocrite I see many (certainly leading and outspoken) socialists to be.
One can level many accusations against Garnett, bigoted, proud, abrasive...but I can't remember him being overly hypocritical, I'm happy to be corrected though! like I say, I didn't watch a great many of the programs!

Charlotte Church is our Welsh songstress, and she married the best rugby player we had in a generation and to be honest she in all honesty ruined him as he went on the beer's too much and ruined the best player of a generation - Ash Look up 'The best of Gavin Henson' that's who she married and even I'm jealous of how good looking he was but even more of how good he was at rugby, within a year he wasn't the same player, and she WAS photographed falling out of bars, making a right idiot of herself, but men and women we the Welsh, the Scottish and the Irish have Celtic blood and LOVE a drink!
