Poor Boston Wade-O! My son is 9 and has had 4 sets of tubes. Ear infections are miserable. One thing that always helped my kiddo were the rice bags that you can microwave like the one he got for Christmas. Very soothing for the ear. Also, water proof ear plugs off Amazon! Praying for a quick recovery

Awe! Poor buddy! Please tell him I hope he feels better soon. I'm sure he is by the time we see this but in my lifetime from 2 to 14 I've had 11 sets of ear tubes put in and one of my ear drums ruptured....I've lost 20% of my hearing in both ears so I know his ear pain for sure and it sucks......thank u for sharing this wonderful journey with us as you all go on your trip. I am beyond happy for your parents as well. Such a wonderful thing.

I feel yeah Boston over this last weekend I was diagnosed with a middle ear infection as well I am 25 years old and was born with a conductive hearing loss and have been prone to ear infections my whole life. Hang in there you got this.

I love kayaking!!! We went last year in our area. Poor Boston, I have an ear infection as I type this. Have had for over 10 days. Been on an antibiotic but not clearing up. Hopefully it works for Boston!! Congratulations to your mom and dad! Can't wait to hear the news!!!!

My husband and I have figured out that we do not do well in a tandem kayak!!!! We have lived in Bradenton, Florida for a couple of years now and have bought our own kayaks!!!!👍🌞👍🌞👍🌞
When we were in Fl over the summer, we kayaked in Ft Wilderness. I was nervous bc we saw alligator traps. It is quite a workout! I was lucky I went with our 13 year old. My husband had our 6 year old and they kept going in circles 🤪 Enjoy yourselves!
After swimming in the ocean, sounds crazy, but blue the hair dryer in their ears on warm for a few minutes each side. Works wonders for ear infection and soothes as well. I love at the beach and we've had our share!!! Love you guys. Also, antibiotics and the sun can be very dangerous. So slather it on baby

The people they meet will be changed forever. What an awesome way to spend retirement. Our church is Salvation Army. So a bit different but people can go on missions as well all over the world.

I'm so excited for these videos. When I'm home I love kayaking through the mangroves on the Bayside. Have you guys eaten at The Fish House yet? Or at Snooks at sunset? Don't forget to go to lower matacumbe( it's not to far and a beautiful drive) to feed the tarpon. Also Worldwide Sportsman. Islamorada fish Company. Since you guys are at Pennekamp a snorkel tour to see the statue of Christ. It's absolutely breathe taking. Sorry to keep babbling, I so excited my favorite family is getting to experience my hometown. You guys are such an AMAZING wholesome family. Look forward to all the future videos to come. Bonnie, hearing you say that you were afraid that Boston was going to dump you over, reminds me of a time when my father, sis and I were all in the same canoe. I was in the middle because they didn’t trust my paddling. Anyways I had on some brand new shorts over my bathing suit and I didn’t want them to get wet. Well I was getting bored and hot just sitting there and we were close to where our campsite was so I begged my dad to let me swim the rest of the way. So I took my shorts off and then jumped into the water but I tipped the canoe and my dad, sis and all our things fell out including my new shorts. I might add that my dad didn’t know how to swim. But he had on a life jacket and it was where he could touch. Oh what great memories you all are making with your children.

Native Floridian here 👋!!!! Just a little fact mangroves are where all the little creatures like to hang out including some sharks. So I gasped when they jumped in the water there 😂. Also any fresh water has gators. We are use to them so we do go in those waters , but definitely look out for things on the water. There are tons of creatures here ! 🌺🐍🐊🦈

We also have saltwater crocs down there. I'm from the keys and the crocs are starting to take over the canals down there and on the Bayside. My friend has one at her parents house on Bayside that comes and hangs out on by the dock.

They mentioned in another vlog that the kids teachers prepped all their school work to take with them. Bonnie also mentioned how the teachers were really kind to make school work based on the locations they were going to be traveling to.
