- I was part of a peaceful St. George’s Day March on Tuesday, which was supposed to end up in Trafalgar Square, but the police blocked near enough every road we tried to go down. We weren’t causing trouble, we weren’t defacing monuments and we certainly weren’t antagonising the police. In fact, they were the antagonists. If they had just let us go where we wanted to, everything would’ve been fine, but they were intent on causing trouble. I don’t understand the problem with wanting to celebrate St. George’s Day. It’s one day of the year. I thought this was England 🏴
When pro-Palestinians were climbing on London monuments the Met said they had no powers to stop it. Funny how they suddenly find the powers to stop St George's Day celebrants walking around London...

Yea funny that.... and they wander why zero respect is given too them. Its bad enough that they tweet when they pull you over and do dad jokes, gloating at your downfall. Long gone are the days where you would get a warning or education. Instead they try to trump up the charge/fine all for dopamine hits on social media.

I attended those pro palestine protests as a member of it. Nobody climbed a thing though it would be nice though if the police didn't block these marches like St George's which are peaceful the way I see it if I was able to march the other side should also be able to do the same I know I would not be happy if they had blocked our route like this

There is something wrong with our Police force when they look so overweight, unshaven and with little presence. To go around stopping a march in support of St George's Day and being openly hostile sickens me, when they have sat back and allowed the Palestinian support marches to go ahead and turned a blind eye to the racism, intimidation and hostility to others. They turned a blind eye to the loss of business to shops owners and vendors. They stepped back, went down on their knees and in some cases showed contempt to other religious congregations. Here they are out in force and being openly hostile.
