In this episode, Tammy has the first of a series of conversations with her good friend Queenie Yu. They speak within the framework of Catholicism on themes such as: the religious impulse of humanity, meaning found in God, whether suffering is the quickest way to wholeness, the power of prayer and the sacraments, and much more.
Queenie Yu is the Assistant Director of Kintore College, a female residence near the University of Toronto campus that was inspired by St. Josemaria Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei. Queenie became a Catholic after her first year at the University of Waterloo where she studied Environmental Studies and Psychology. After completing her MBA she has worked in sales, marketing, politics and in the charitable sector. She is passionate about mentoring young women and is honoured to be helping in the organization of Pope Francis' visit to Canada.

The holy spirit is Gods form of existance or invisible identity not somebody with its own personalty and body. Jesus christ is the visible identity of God. Meaning God manfisted in a flesh through his word.Remember Jesus have another name recived through the angel " a child is born fo us his name will be Emanuel" Mathew 1:22-23 Emanuel means "God with us" that shows the invisible God manifested in a visible bodly form.1Thimothy 3:16.This was 700 years ago profsised by Isaya 9:6 .when it talkes about jesus as a father and a mighty God for to us a child is born ,to us a son is given and the governent will be on his shoulders.And he will be called wonderful Counceler , a mighty God .everlasing father , prince of peace.so we see here Jesus is both the father and son.not in t2 bodly form but in one body. But we have to remember here that there is only ONE God who is the God of Abraham , Isak, jakob Moses. Isaia speaks about this only God where there is no other God .Isaia 45:21-22 Declare what is to be , present it let them take counsel together .who foretold this long ago ,who declared it from the distant past ?was it not i,the lord and there is no God apart from me , a righteous God and savior there is non but me ."turn to me and be saved all you ends of the earth for i am God ,and there is no other".So we must understand here he is talking about Jesus is not the 3rd or 2nd God when he talks about God ship or divinity. so please read other verses that can help you to know the identity of Jesus Christ .Isaia:43:10-12 , Isaia 44.6 Isaia:64:1-4 Isaia 52:3-6.after we read these verses let us move t the new testament the book of john 1:9 -12 "the true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world , he was in the world , and though the world was made through him , the world did not recognize him.he came to that which was his own , but his own did not receive him . ,to hose who believed in his name he gave the right to become children of God. The Bible says that older women should teach the younger.
These discussions are so valuable. I have always loved Jordan but now I love Tammy even more. I prayed so much for them when they were sick. Like they were my own family. I know so many Christians all over the world prayed their hearts out. God answered our prayers. In Tammy’s case God saved her life and also accomplished the miracle of new birth spiritually (John 3-see Nicodemus where Jesus says you must be born from on high) in her. I saw that this happened in Mikhaila’s interview with her. I LOVE her love for God, Jesus, the Bible and spiritual things. This proves the faith God has given to her. I just love Tammy and praise God for what he is working in her heart and mind.
@@davidmehari3631 Colossians 1 is so revealing about Jesus. It teaches us that Jesus is the image of the invisible God. It says that in Jesus all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one but also separate in a way we can’t comprehend. The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit teaches, helps, comforts and indwells believers. Jesus told the first believers to wait for the Holy Spirit (who came at Pentecost) that he would not leave them as orphans-that it was actually better that he would leave so that the Spirit would come and indwell all believers.
The rosary has meant a lot to my family. It means a lot to see someone interested in the Catholic Church and not immediately recoiling away.

So excited for you, Tammy, with your newfound relationship with the Lord of your life through the miracle of the turnaround of events concerning your misdiagnosis and life threatening complications of surgery. Truly miraculous! Yet I learned recently that miracles are not something that only happen few and far between. There are so many of them happening everyday, and they can be seen by Christians. I so appreciate your videos Tammy. I was raised in SDA church and was forced to memorize chapters of the Bible at a young age with punishment being public shaming. There was a lot of dooms day preaching and I didn’t make concrete plans for my future because of the belief of Armageddon. I have a hard time reading the Bible now because of memories of fear and shame that come forward when I read it. Could you do a video on religious abuse and how others over came and can now feel safe participating in church and reading the Bible?

Science has not even come close to understanding this most primary given. That life is. For me this is proof. How is it that I have life let alone can perceive and discuss and refute. I am reading a book right now called “The 30 minute Bible”. I really like it. It explains the story of the Bible really well and simply. It also talks about all the universal questions that the Bible brings up. For example, in the Psalms David asks, “When I consider the works of your hands, what is man that thou art mindful of him?” Many people wonder why or how God could care about us each individually. This in a universal question. The Bible (and the psalms) speak to this question. David in another Psalm says that the hairs on our heads are numbered by God for example. If we didn’t have the Bible we would have to make up our own ideas of who God is (idolatry). We have the book of nature and the book of Scripture to point us to to God and tell us what we need to know about who he is.

If we go with the premise that God is real and the Bible is true (which we do) then imagine the joy (if this is the correct descriptive word) that God (as our Father and the Author of our salvation!) must have when we take his word to heart and have insights and discussions (like the ones you are having) of these things about Him. We bring glory to Him and may I dare say, joy. The Olympic runner Eric Liddell (see the movie “Chariots of Fire”) said, “When I run I feel his pleasure.”
I was thinking recently about how through Jesus God has brought us back to the Garden where he walked and communed with Adam and Eve. God, through the Holy Spirit and the word) communes with us (comforts, teaches and helps us). He takes joy with us like we do our children and grandchildren 😊

This was truly a beautiful conversation between two very sweet, lovely ladies! Queenie definitely does an amazing job at answering the theological questions which shows that she is serious about the Faith snd studies it. The only thing I would say she was wrong about was the part when she said that the Blessed Trinity dwells within all of us. That is not true since one needs to be baptized (in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit) with water in order to become adopted sons and daughters of God, and to have the Holy Trinity dwelling within us. When we are baptized (Baptism is a Sacrament), we are filled with sanctifying grace which is different from natural grace. All are called to be baptized into Christ and to be clothed in Christ, and that is why we sometimes see people who are not yet baptized responding to the Good Shepherd Who is calling them through natural grace (which is different from sanctifying grace) to come to Him so that the Blessed Trinity can dwell within in them through baptism.
If I may make a suggestion, please: The best way to learn the Christian Faith is through the Catechism - the Roman Catechism from the Council of Trent. In it, one learns all they need to know about Salvation History, which includes an explanation of the Holy Sacraments! It is true what Queenie said about the Holy Eucharist Really being Jesus Christ (Humbly Hidden under the appearance of Bread and Wine) in the Catholic Holy Mass. He is there Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in all Catholic Holy Masses (Western Catholic) and Divine Liturgies (Eastern Catholic). Please read St. John chapter 6 for the Bread of Life Discourse.
About Confession: It is true that we go to a priest for Holy Confession when we seriously sin because Jesus ordained it this way when He said in St. Matthew, "Whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven and whatever you loose on Earth will be loosed in Heaven." Jesus gave the Apostles and their successors (cardinals, bishops, and priests) the power to either absolve people of their sins (through the power of Jesus Christ) or RETAIN them. This would only happen if someone is not amending their lives, that's why it is good to go to the same confessor every time for confession because the priest will know you well and care for your soul better. What an act of charity it is to retain one sins until he or she really amends his or her life. This is important since the Mission of the Catholic Church that Jesus Christ instituted is to save souls.
Finally I want to say how touched I was, Tammy, to hear you speak about grandchildren and how you pray the rosary in front of them. I love that you told your granddaughter that Mother Mary will always be with her!! How it pleases Jesus so much when we honor His Mother! Children really do love prayer; they, indeed love the rosary too! I teach catechism to 5-7 year olds and they love to pray the Holy Rosary! They always ask to pray it! My heart is overjoyed when they do! They are so innocent and close to our Lord and Lady.

When Christ was Baptized, the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove came down upon Him. The Holy Spirit is the love between the Father and the Son, and we need the indwelling of the Holy Spirit; the indwelling of the Blessed Trinity.
Natural graces should lead a soul to faith, repentance, and Baptism with water unless we are dealing with a baby - the parents would then act on behalf of the baby since God gave them authority over their children.

The creation of AI is an attempt from mankinds, who want to be the creator. We all know no matter how the AI could be "perfect", "they" lack souls. It's the same as the seculars and all of us.
