- Today i try a product by Napa (Mac's) called "Aluminum Brightner". This stuff works and is no joke. Do NOT leave on motor for more than 20 seconds and rinse off immediately after that to insure product is diluted well. Make sure to wear proper safety gear (ie Eye, hands & mouth) protection at all times when using. Do NOT use this on painted surfaces or shiney aluminum surfaces. This product works best and safest on "Cast aluminum" with NO finish or polish. to get tougher stains you may need to carefully use a brush to agitate surface lightly and use several coats and rinse repeatedly. After using product and happy with results (I recommend running motor in a well ventilated area) unit motor is completely dry and all possible resiude is evaporated off.
Read directions on product carefully before using and all the dangers of product as i am NOT responsible for misuse of this product.

Looks awesome!
Thank you for the video, just what I have been looking for.👍👍👍
Just be careful with it and you will have good results
Looks good!
Reminds me of condensing coil cleaner for ac unit. It reacts with aluminum then, foams, lifts off dirt leaving shiny.
Interesting!
Very interesting. I have a can leftover from doing the RV a/c fins. Did you ever try it out?
Easy off foaming oven cleaner works amazing
great job!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Toilet bowl cleaner and a brush will do better than that and it's thicker so it clings to it just don't leave it on there for a long time squirt it on brush it let it sit for 30 seconds and rinse with pressure washer
what kind of toilet bowl cleaner do you use thanks
What brand of toilet bowl cleaner?
Long term review, does it start to eat away plastic it rubber ? After washed a couple times?
It works the way your doing it but you could add an extra 1% but agitating it with a toothbrush or something
That’s the stuff we use on are lie floors it’s strong but scrub it with a stiff brush
Buy a dedicated detail brush for in between the fins and removing soil.
How do you like the sunf tires have the same on a Honda 520
They tear up stuff just ask my dad.. lol jk but seriously there fair priced (or was) when i bought them.
I bought a set of 26's last year and liked them so much that I bought a set of 27's this year. I run 5lds. In them and it's a very comfy ride.
Would this work on the exhaust header
No only aluminum
Use a paint brush to scrub the cases n head
Thanks! I have definitely discovered that a simple paint brush actually can clean alot more than you think!
Hey buddy, I have one question. Are you just using straight bleach or is it mixed with somthing
It's not bleach.
Did you watch the video?
@@njkay0033 yeah but there's probably a mixture in it
Those air cooled are the hardest to clean
Until you use this method lol
@@DGCoinPusher I did! I used pontoon aluminum cleaner and its looks almost new. Did my differential cases too.
Purple power works almost the same just spray on wait a minute and wash off
I did try that actually! and it did get most of the dirt off. Appreciate the comment and thanks for watching. 🙂
Where did you buy that ?
Napa store!
Be careful with it. It works great but if you just leave it on for more than a few minutes it will start working too well
Im from Puerto Rico and the shipping is 23 dollars is crazy 😂
@@jankee991 that's outrageous!!!!
You know about other thing that can work ?
Yea I wont be using anything like that , it will put pits in the engine , if yae keep using it and after a while you will have oxidation problems anywhere you put that shit , good old elbow grease and dish detergent , and soft bristle brush or two lol
Right. I'm in there with a damn tooth brush but it does a damn good job if u take your time
I agree with that
This is definitely just for restoration and you should def clean and polish after this so it doesn’t reoxidize and keep it clean
Spray it with white vinegar.
