Random and off topic but I've been going through family court for the past 2 years, finally I have contact with son. 6 hour sessions in a contact centre to begin with. It takes me 3 hours to get there so you can imagine what is going through my head on my way there. I put these podcasts on and drift away and focus on a more positive mindset, thank you. Random and has nothing to do with anything but just want to thanks you for keeping me sane for those few hours.
I think the issue with this years fandome was that basically all the stuff they talked about had already been discussed last year since they haven’t announced anything new
I had to think back on that but you’re absolutely right. I don’t think there was anything we got this year that wasn’t introduced last year.
@@stefanfilipovits21 there was just nothing “BIG” as such. Like the batgirl and blue beetle hbo movies, the sort of reboot of Batman the animated series and Nora I think it was that show. But nothing big in the movie area besides Wonder Woman 3 but we all assumed that was gonna happen so that doesn’t really count
I think they also devoted significant time to actual comics, which ironically enough, based on the numbers, doesn't appeal to most of the audience.
One thing I love about this show and you guys in general is that you don’t let things like Superman being bisexual ever bother you (because it shouldn’t). And you dont use it to create click bait headlines to get more views. You hilariously point out other people’s stupid arguments and soy boy sob stories to great effect. Superman is possibly the greatest fictional hero and icon in our society and if he is changed to represent more people across the world, that’s great in my opinion. Comics have always been a great vehicle for progressive ideology and it’s great that they are still doing that. Thanks for always being such level headed stand up guys!!

About squid game:
kdramas, more often than not, are self contained 1 season stories, so when this show was produced its very likely a sequel wasn't even in the picture. However now I think its inevitable

I watched all of the Fandome (it was on at 6pm here) and honestly, I was pretty disappointed with what we got really.
I was expecting some more movies to be announced (beyond Shazam 2 the slate is looking pretty bare for 2023 and beyond).
Would have been nice to get proper full length trailers for Flash and Black Adam too, but I didn't hate what we got.
Our specific schoolyard game was “catch the dumbass.” It was usually the same kid, David, and we’d chase him, try to grab him by the hand, and swing him around to the ground. I think if you caught him but couldn’t yank him to the ground, you became the dumbass but typically we just chased this one guy. Yes, he played this position willingly

I don't really care about Jon Kent being bi because I don't care about Jon as a character. BUT
I prefer it over taking a character traditionally seen as one thing (straight in this case) and just randomly changing it. Like if instead they made Clark gay for whatever reason. Making a new character or changing something about a lesser character is a lot better imo.
