I thought I was the only one that played keep the netflix volume at a reason level while watching but apparently not. I live in a flat and it seems most shows or films going wildly through different volume levels from whispering low volume to super loud action. I'd say it's only action films but it's even in shows like US The Office and Packs and Recs :D

I was excited when I heard they were remaking Space Jam, then every little bit I heard about the movie was terrible. Watched it the other day, was worse than my already low expectations.
At least this new one made more sense why LeBron was there in that world than MJ was. Both are not great movies but are a good kids movie
@@fjnemo Eh. Kids may find them entertaining, but I wouldn't say they're good kids movies. I wouldn't lower the bar just because something's made for a kid or family audience.
Its a fun movie. Kids will love it. Alot of the negative reviews are coming from Lebron haters.

I knew this film wasn't going to be great, but I did not expect the venom in this review. I love it! Ironically you've sold me on this awful movie. I can't wait to watch this again and again, enjoying how genuinely unforgivable it is.

I love Jim Jarmusch. The Dead Dont Die was really hard work. Started great, and then becomes a slog. Great cast, everyone is great, but... Yikes. Good luck with that! :) Gunpowder Milkshake was much fun, a saturday morning cartoon live action bloody John Wick :) Bright, colourful fun.

1up arcade cabinets suck, we have space invaders and the quality of the joystick and buttons are subpar. Plus it’s LOUD af!
I know it's expensive, but replacing the buttons with Sanwa parts is a pretty fun and easy weekend project. Although at the price of the cabinet, they should have had them installed at the factory.
I've played a few and they're fine. If you plan on getting more than one tho you might as well just get an all in one cabinet that'll have like 1500 games on it.

Can confirm Half-Life Alyx is incredible. I wish more people were able to play through it, but vr is still just too damn expensive and inaccessible.
Seeing Michael B Jordan was nice and cool but it wasn’t super surprising to me because Ryan Coogler who puts Michael B Jordan in every movie he makes was somehow a producer of this.

A couple key stand outs that peaked my interest include 1. When Bugs dies, Lebron does not care like at all. He's like well good job mate and leaves and the toons are left with his dying body. 2. A lack of Speedy Gonzales which was quite disappointing because I would think he would be quite useful during a basket ball game since he is absolutely rapid, I would assume because they barely even want to have the character because of the clearly apparent stereotype issues. So it is understandable for him to not be in it as much from that POV yet, they do decide to include one scene where he dodges a bullet doing a back bend, whilst yelling "Arriba Arriba" and bullets go through his sombrero..... like which is it!? Are we not including him to cover our bases or just going all out and embracing it. And lastly 3. during one very dramatic talk scene (at least was intended to be) there is a party city costume flying monkey in the background just doing the same dance move over and over again to no music and it is the funniest thing ever. Absolute travesty of a movie but this review made my day love you guys keep it up

It's so funny listening to this almost 3 years later knowing that every film studio is actively trying to use Algorithms and AI to create new movies for existing IPs so they don't have to pay writers a fair wage. Truly a self dunk just like that line in Matrix Resurrections where Agent Smith says that Warner will make a Matrix movie with or without Neo's involvement

that letter about the americans is spot on! its an incredible series with one of the most simple yet satisfying endings. here in the uk literally nobody knows about it because it was on like itv 93 at 3.17am then silently uploaded to amazon prime and now disney plus as part of stars. more people need to know about this!

Re: the arcade cabinet - dude you should build yourself a raspberry pi emulator cabinet. That way you can play any game you want to load up. Also - you can teach yourself and your kids basic programming and have fun soldering up the electronics and building the cabinet custom. Edu-tainment - ending in video games. :)
Oh yes - also - all of the kit is incredibly inexpensive :) But get yourself a Pi4 with 8gb of RAM so everything runs smoothly.
Jeff Bergman, besides Mel Blanc of course, is my favorite voice for Bugs Bunny. He was actually doing the voice for him in the cartoons when the first Space Jam came out. He took over Bugs after Blanc. Honestly, IMO, Billy West sounded off, so I was happy to hear he would actually voice Bugs on the big screen. Too bad the movie isn't getting a good reception though.
Edit: I watched it for Jeff. Knowing it's not a good movie helps. Turn your brain off, it is what it is. Still, I hate that the Space Jam theme song isn't in the movie. I also hate the new design, kinda creepy. On the other hand, I liked the DC scene because it connected the movie to The Looney Tunes Show for me. Also, yes, the Michael Jordan joke was pretty good.

1. You'll need a powerful PC, something with a 3080 or 3090 in it (DO NOT BUY before you ask a PC nerd friend to look over the nitty-gritty and explain to them what you want to do with it; watch this for a snapshot of what to avoid czcams.com/video/MR25BVBsuS0/video.html )
2. Get an Oculus Quest 2 for the actual VR componentry. It's a hell of a lot less of a pain in the ass than the alternatives, and you'll get a lot more use out of the standalone functionality
