I, also, unapologetically love Tron: Legacy. And it always baffles me when people criticize it while at the same time praising the original (which I also love).

Spacesuits had insulation and climate-control.
To grossly oversimplify it.
Also it's only that hot in the direct sunlight. Since there's no atmosphere the heat isn't maintained in the shadow areas so the astronauts actually complained about having cold fingertips and now space suits have little heaters in the gloves.

Space travel is so cumbersome. I swear, I don't know how humans are going to do it in the future. I hope tech furthers our ability to traverse the moon and even deep space.

James Gunn directing a Fallout movie would be nice.
It would be banned in India, and find significantly less audience in countries with a high Indian diaspora, because it uses culturally insensitive depiction and usage of Hindu symbolism and caste-names.

Free Guy was a pretty alright and positive Video Game movie, Not quite Wreck It Ralph but not anywhere close to Pixels.
The idea that Finn Jones went into a role that is defined by martial arts and refused to pratice or train properly in said martial arts boggles my mind. Like surely thats not the whole story, SURELY. Coz if that were true there's no way Netflix wouldn't have fired him at the first sign of trouble, because you don't get to be the lead character in a martial arts show and refuse to do the required training, especially when you don't even come from a martial arts background to begin with.
I mean, it's not like he's some big name with a ton of clout, the second he said he wasn't training they could have booted him and no one would have cared lol.
Especially in the second season. At that point people were so sick of his character a recast would have been applauded
This show was by far the biggest disappointment like how did they make so many wrong decisions that made the show worse. From the costume to not having someone competent in martial arts. It seems like it should have been so easy to get right especially after the success of Daredevil

in The Wizard, the girl is played by Jenny Lewis, who is a pretty successful musician. She fronts Rilo Kiley and has solo work

Not the best news show, but the one we turn to when the night is darkest.
Did the Century club in the 90s when I was in my early 20s. Seriously... one of the drunkest I've ever been. Couldn't walk to the couch from the table. Played my roommate a game of RBI (classic nintendo) and it was 38 - 0 in the first inning when I forfeited. With the minute spacer between beer shots, your body processes every bit of alcohol, and you don't piss any of it away.
I actually had a very similar experience as that alien lady who lives in Toronto. Except it was Arnold Scwartenegger on the bike, and it was 6am in Venice Beach (California).
I pay money to listen to this early every week, and I still get excited for the free version every Monday, so clearly there's something wrong with me.

It’s already been said, but I feel the need to say again that Jenny Lewis was in The Wizard, and that is a very important fact.

The Wizard is actually a remake of a pinball movie, Tommy (1975). Nintendo just was able to take full advantage of the situation so it seems like they made an ad. Not any worse than product placement in James Bond movies.

Jenny Lewis from Salute Your Shorts and the bands Rilo Kiley & Postal Service is the girl in The Wizard.
It's actually a pretty good After School special kind of movie if you cut out all the Nintendo stuff, Slater and Bridges are fine and the trucker sequence is fun, also if you like the film "Paris, Texas" theres a familiar location. But yeah it's we're mostly weird advertising crap, but I loved it as a kid and being 35 now, was the perfect age to be completely suckered in by it.

the truman remake would have to be about social media somehow idk. his parents were family bloggers and never told him he was recorded. he lives in a world without social media people can idk tweet at people in the show to say stuff to him. i don't know. i feel like it would have to comment on something like that i think the reality tv is now just. family bloggers (that creep me the fuck out)
It makes me so happy that you guys like Tron Legacy. I love that movie. Amazing soundtrack and the action is beautiful.
Ok late to this video, but The Wizard was a favorite movie as a kid and I'd kill for more content about it. The family drama with Beau Bridges, Christian Slater, and Fred Savage was surprisingly compelling for a Nintendo commercial and I had a huge crush on Jenny Lewis who has gone on to be a successful musician and I still love. Keep your power glove off her, pal.
Also, a baby Tobey Maguire has a bit part.
I think the 45 day window for movies before going to streaming is probably the best compromise in these times.

Disappointed you didn't bring up Werewolves Within. It's a (loosely based) video game movie that's actually good. Lots of good actors in it as well.

agreed, at the time of initial reception the story was there was nearly no time for him to learn the choreography. doesn't make the outcome any better though. the fact that in Defenders they have Daredevil work him over seems to be the showrunners acknowledging how much IronFist sucks.

kevin feige has also been involved in almost every marvel movie outside the MCU including Amazing Spiderman, Daredevil, Elektra and The Punisher movies so stop acting like he's the reason the MCU works. he was just in the right place at the right time
Daredevil season 2 and the defenders were a little disappointing but season 3 is much better. Almost as good as season 1!
Season 3 is better than season 1 and season 2 is really great. Defenders wasn't great but season 2 of daredevil? Really great in retrospect. It's all the punisher and Elektra stuff

The hand stuff was kinda lame but the whole punisher arc was better than the punisher show and might be my favorite arc of the show.
Iron Fist was more believable as a f*@$boy side piece for the closeted King in Game of Thrones. That's super annoying to find out he was indifferent to training. He still got paid I bet.
