Beast Wars was a fantastic show featuring the Maximals and Predacons. It served as a direct sequel to the original G1 Transformers series as the descendant of Megatron- also named Megatron for some reason- goes back in time with a handful of his followers (Predacons) to destroy the human race before it begins, thereby preventing them from helping the Autobots defeat the Decepticons. The descendant of Optimus Prime- named Optimus Primal- along with a handful of his followers (Maximals) tries to stop him. Both groups end up trapped on prehistoric Earth where there are no vehicles to transform into, only beasts. Thus, the war for the future of both Earth and Cybertron begins: The Beast Wars. There you go, summary.
The transformers are millions of years old? Wouldn't they rust?
I enjoyed hearing the boys completely butcher the premise of Beast Wars

That summary of beast wars was so terrible and wrong that's it's probably going to be the plot of this movie 🤣. James definitely never watched beast wars.

Hey Nicky and Jimmy, here's a left-field idea for the next COG, after the huge success of Raiders of the Lost Ark there were a couple of bandwagon jumping TV shows, the first was called 'Bring 'em back alive' but the one I remember clearer was called 'Tales of the Gold Monkey'. I seem to think it was pretty good, but maybe my childish mind has lied to me, please check these out and set the record straight, finally!

45:45 So, funny story. When I was in college, I was riding my bike to campus and was hit by a car. I flew over the handle bars, bounced off the hood, and hit the cement. Since the car was TRYING to slow down, and the hood had a bit of bounce in it, that part did not hurt as bad as the cement.
I will say though, if they were going any faster, it wouldn't have mattered, and I would have been splattered across their hood.
Seems like Bow Wow set up the business side of things for the company, the Asian guy comes up with the theoretical concepts/math for the products, and Lucas Black is the mechanic/pilot that does the actual construction/testing.

Funny thing the most southern sounding word after yall is reckon and brits sometimes use it (where it originates) but yall use it all the time! i believe the elephant riding made the back problem worse for ford but the final straw was the stunt against the guy who tries to kill him in his room. Temple of doom is surprisingly coherent considering they had to cut stuff though it's a shame some good scenes were cut because of ford's injury, mostly stuff that would have given willie and short round more to do (they had to cut those scenes since they would have taken place at the palace set and they had only limited time accessing it and ford was unavailable then)
You guys should definitely check out Outer Wilds. It's incredible.

I feel like it’s more cause they’re going against the big rule of “show not tell” with them just talking about it, I feel like people just want a flashback sequence or something. I really wanted to like Fast and Furious 9. I was hoping my disappointment in 8 wouldn't carry over since Lin was back in the director's chair but for some reason, I can't put my finger on it just seems like the magic is gone and they're just going through the motions. Depending on how 10 and 11 turn out I might tell people who are interested in the series to stop after 7.
My only problem with 9 is the flash back is 1989 butt the cars wher crome the 90s what the France! Great show!
I utterly hate when anyone criticizes something about FF and Fanboys go "WTF your problem is your thinking. That isn't the films fault that's your fault" Just shut up. You can enjoy and love the film if you want that's great and I'm not gonna say anything negative about you liking it. But don't then come at me and tell me the film is great and it's my fault for not liking it because I thought to much and that it's just a fun popcorn flick. The Avenger Films are so called popcorn flicks yet they are still well written. Have well written fleshed out and developed characters. And despite being comic book films have plots that are easy to follow. Again if you enjoy them great. But at the end of the day it's a film and if they characters aren't well developed if the plot is bad and if shit doesn't make sense then those are all valid reasons to think a movie isn't good regardless of if it's a popcorn action film or not. As you can have all of those things in such a film. It's just F9 wasn't well made enough to have such things.
ACKSHUALLY, beast wars Megatron is a criminal in the future that named himself after Megatron. He steals a ship with some fugitives and using a recorded message from Megatron (g1), goes back in time to do something.
A group of maximals are tasked with stopping him (with a ship that wasn't meant for battle) and they topple through time with them and land on prehistoric earth.
Both sides weren't aware that they time traveled or that they were on earth. Then the story plays out. But no, primal and Megatron from BW aren't the g1 guys

Beast Wars Synopsis, for anyone who cares: In the far future, a group of Maximals (descendants of the Autobots) chase a gang of criminal Predacons (descendants of the Decepticons) through a transwarp portal into what is later revealed to be prehistoric earth, where the two sides battle over various resources and allies, while the Predacons' leader Megatron (unrelated to G1 Megatron) works on his own nefarious machinations.
Yeah they added some detail where the names optimus prime and megatron are titles that are passed down to the current leader of their respective side
@@space237 in the original show? Because Optimus Primal wasn't the leader of the Maximals, he was just captain of the vessel that intercepted the Predacon's vessel after they stole the golden disk. And Beast Megatron specifically changed his name to Megatron in order to emulate and honor the Decepticon leader.
