It gave me goosebumps at the end. Davo is soo right and as a Muslim I can't tell you the therapeutic relief most Muslims receive from videos like your World Cup series.
People have been experiencing real mass trauma from the consistent and somewhat relentless pressure of the western media. The idea of being painted as evil and backwards in your society and in general across the world weighs heavily on a person and community, especially over a prolonged period. These videos seem to soothe that and mean so much to so many.
The whole thing has been amazing viewing and it's been great to see how it allowed people from all walks of life to experience the best of Middle Eastern and Muslim culture, something quite frankly not easily done by people of many nationalities. Many people came from South America but also the Far East. Joined by the open minded Europeans, Yanks and Aussies. A great world Cup and somewhat therapeutic for so many.

The sermon contained many facts that are necessary to guide the heedless world of today and give them happiness.
      .
One of the principles that the Prophet, peace be upon him, indicated in the Farewell sermon is equality among human beings in all situations and at all levels.
      .
The Prophet, peace be upon him said: "O' people, your Lord is one, and your father is one. There is no virtue for an Arab over a non-Arab, nor for a non-Arab over an Arab, and neither for a red-skin [person] over a black-skin [person], nor for a black-skin [person] over a red-skin [person], except by righteousness. Have I delivered the message?" They said: "The Prophet, peace be upon him, has delivered the message." And he said: “Let the one who listened to this speech convey it to those who are absent!”)
      .
People are equal; there are no differences among the colored, the white, the black, the rich, the poor, the powerful, the weak, the handsome and the ugly, etc. The most honorable among people are those who are more pious.
      .
This is the first principle of human rights; all human beings are equal regardless of their gender, sect, color, culture, age, position, power or physical appearance.
If man does not believe in Allah the Almighty and in His Promise and Menace, and if he does not believe that Allah knows everything done in secret or in public, he will be selfish, and so he will achieve his own goals regardless of anything else, build his glory on the wreck of other people, collect his wealth on impoverishing others, build his honor on humiliating others, and save his life by killing others. That is why the prophet peace be upon him said in the Farewell sermon:
      .
(…The Prophet peace be upon him, said: "Verily Allah has declared your blood and your money inviolable as the sanctity of this [sacred] day in this [sacred] month in this [sacred] town till you meet your Lord. Have I delivered the message?" They said: "Yes." The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "May Allah be my Witness. Let those who are present inform those who are absent."

I'm a Saudi woman postgraduate student in England, and I see and recognise daily how people here look at me, how they have negative and fabricated ideas about the Arab world, and why they keep asking, many times after graduation, why I'm going back to Saudi Arabia. And it saddens me so much that in this era of globalisation and widespread social media when everyone has access to the means and opportunities to learn the truth about others, so many people continue to believe what they see in the media. And I'm tired of clarifying to them that, despite our flaws, I feel much more secure and happy in my country than in the U.K.
So many thanks to you, and you’re welcome anytime in Qatar or Saudi Arabia 🤍

Thank you for honest and open minded portrait of the Arab world. The Muslim ummah wants to build bridges ,with the rest of the world. Football is a universal game that can start by doing this.
As a British Pakistani born in the UK.I appreciate your comments about the Quran, yes you right there are difference in culture but we are all one race.We should all be united ,not divided by the media and politics .You got your self a follower of your channel.
Keep up the good work.Yes its a shame England lost, but In sha Allah one day its coming home.

Us uk muslims had to endure a lot too. Felt like I had to mind my business whilst my coworkers/managers were giving ignorant takes on qatar/muslim countries and Islam in general just to keep my job. And all the stuff from the news and social media, it gets very draining.
Big yourself up Davo, loved the series. If only there was more sincerity among us.. thank you!

Complete respect for your openness and inquisitive nature. The rule of thumb is to see which other countries that have been mis-portrayed. I have seen youtube travel loggers going to these countries and been blown away by their experiences and learning that the people are truly not representative of how the news has vilified them.
I saw some Engish/American/German youtubers in Pakistan, they loved the hospitality and saw that the people were really trying to prove themselves. These countries are gems that a lot of people will not see or have experiences like you and are desperate to have an opportunity to showcase their hospitality.
We should have won yesterday, we were the better team, never played so well!

They did it to Brunei too. It is always the Muslim world that is vilified along with North Korea. I kinda understand why someone wouldn't recommend going to NK though.

09:35 This is the vital point to understand and thank-you for saying it. Morality, how to behave, values, having a community spirit, how treat visitors and guests....all were learned from the Holy Quran.
Liberalism has lead to a degeneracy that has lead to an environment, where women don't feel safe, trust between people has gone and many people who were born in the West are leaving to live happier lives in places such as Qatar, Turkey, Indonesia etc.
Thank-you for your honest, real videos about how it is in Doha, Qatar. Your videos do so much good to counter the deliberate negative narrative of Western liberal media, in particular the BBC.....
Safe journey home and InshaAllah return to the region again.
