Seen several Magura videos now and it's amazing to read all the comments about lack of info, that Magura dont hold up to expectations, that you destroyed parts bla bla. The simple solution - IF you don't have basic knowledge about how brakes works, or can't figure out how to change pads, or why torque specs are important, or blaming broken parts/lack of performance on Magura - that you have caused by yourself - then you perhaps shouldn't buy premium brakes in the first place and try to do the work by yourself! Leave the bike to the local bike shop! With that being said, feedback to Magura is to highlight torque specs even more, and make longer videos to cover more situations and have one mechanic with good knowledge and pedagogy that shows the procedures on a real bike, take notice from Park tool videos, GMBN etc. As for now the videos are good but very straight forward with a lot of info, but stiff and correct (german style!?🤔). Make it more relaxed and personal to the viewers with one presenter/host/mechanic. Perhaps do some additional videos with the pro's and have them talk about there setups, experiences etc. Love my MT7 pro's, just wish I had the HC3 levers aswell *blinking to Magura 😉*
Way too difficult to adjust the alignment of the pads in order not to touch the disc. I regret to purchase it. I bought the MT7 in Germany but Magura Hong Kong did not provide any help.
Yeah that didn’t make any sense to me either. This video doesn’t seem to be very well thought out. They could have made it 60second’s longer and it would have been so much more informative.
Currently going mad with my magura 4 piston brake. No matter what I do it drags. Along the way I broke the bleed screw (made of plastic!) and replaced the disck (Magura counterlock to 6 pin adapter is made of plastic too! wtf). I am looking forward to selling the bike and never buying Magura shit again.
@@PickleForkRally I wouldn't even attempt to bleed Maguras, but the fix I've heard from Bike engineers is to fit a Shimano Saint /SLX lever on the Magura caliper just change the Olive.and you have Shiguras . Im trying to get used to the Mag brake lever first while they are in warranty, but I will change them as soon as the warranty is up. I tried this method in the video on a brand new MT7 and I had fluid come out of the caliper. There too expensive to mess with on your own in my opinion.
@@PickleForkRally Out of the pistons and they were only a week old. I went in a panic to my bike engineers who said Id have to send them to Magura in Germany. but fortunately, they were ok after servicing, I think they came not bled properly.. I have SLX front and Magura rear, 203 rotors, and the difference in modulation is so apparent . The Shimano levers are better built and have more modulation. Oh. believe me, to anybody hi-spec bikes can bleed your wallet dry. I could have brought a car with the money I have spent, instead of the bike I built :)
Thank you for sharing this. I think that might the source of the clicking noise that has been driving me F#%&ing crazy trying to figure out. $4,5000.00 bikes shouldn't have crazy noises in them.
So to stop pad drag you just poke a screw driver in your caliper, Nice tip 👍

I don’t how these brakes we’re voted best for 2020, 2021 in a row. My brake not only rub but also make an annoying high pitch noise. Not happy.
I don't understand if you are I engage e lever and pads. How do I push back e pistons?

Really I brought MT7 pro and they are very spongy and the levers touch my handlebars... I regret buying the lever but the caliper is excellent

I own a pair of mt8 racelines and i notice that the brake pads on my front brake rattle and emits a clicking sound

Really unclear what is happening here and why it’s effective.
What a worthless "tip"
