MM ZX there's a reason they feel Christian. Tolkien was truly devout and had a strong friendship with CS Lewis. The whole world building and plot of LOTR is an allegory of the Christian worldview as well

However, a promised saviour (Christ) was prophesied to one day return in flesh along with the armies of Heaven to interrupt an Armageddon style final battle and throw the Deceiver and his followers into eternal judgement. The old world then falls away to be replaced by a new and perfect one, where the Creator and his followers live in perfect peace for evermore.
It's actually quite fascinating and certainly an allegory imo

Tolkien did say that he disliked allegory so I don't know to what extent LOTR was intended to be directly allegorical, but there are definitely Christian themes in his works (such as sacrificial love, a servant-leader king returning to his throne, etc), and much of the Silmarillion seems like a Middle Earth retelling of the Bible, complete with a poetic interpretation of creation and the fall.
