In Part One, Richard Noble talks engines, engineering and exhibitions.

This book in particular has been a fantastic resource in my research for this video. If you want to know more detail about Thrust 2 than I could cover in a 15 minute video, Richard Noble tells the whole story here. Highly recommended!

That was a real eye opener, I had always assumed that Thrust 2 was a well funded project rather than the shoe string, beg, steal and borrow with a bit of happy coincidence effort it initially was; which makes the success of the project even more inspiring.

I was fortunate enough to sit in Thrust 2 before it had any sponsors and when it was angular and covered in rivets. My father was involved with the organising of a RAF Air Display and Thrust 2 was sat right outside my Dad's hanger. Before the day of the Air display I was allowed to sit in Thrust 2.
