It does seem like it because that would not be my first of winner for Eurovision 1994 (in my opinion, it should have been Poland winning instead finishing runner up). I believe Riverdance (yes, that Riverdance) had a role in Ireland winning in '94 because that titular interval act really stole the show. And Riverdance became a full fledged show of its own because of Eurovision. I bet you didn't know that.

On Fire was amazing, but i do not see it winning in a year with so many amazing songs.
I think iceland would have gotten their first win, but Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy or Bulgaria winning over Lithuania also sound plausable.

    • @elaychscrazyworld4173

@@Jaddas Russia would have won the tele but would have gotten like 50-75 points with the jury. Italy and Malta would have competed for Jury, but Malta would have got only 50-75 in Tele. I’m adamant Armenia could have got 190 tele and 100-150 jury. Lithuania and Iceland would have got 220 tele each but Iceland would have got 200 jury as well.

You are on a roll with these Eurovision videos! Related to the topic, which country would you like to see win Eurovision for the first time either personally or based on current track record? I have two in mind because they are in the same boat--Iceland and Lithuania. They are both the only Nordic and Baltic countries respectively that haven't won Eurovision yet and it is time to complete those blocs. I believe they would have contended for the title in 2020 had that contest not been cancelled due to the pandemic, but as of now, I am feeling more confident of Lithuania one day winning (or at least getting their first top five result) than Iceland due to recent track record. Iceland has really fallen down from their potential at the beginning of the decade, barely qualifying and finish bottom five in 2022, and not even qualifying these last two contests (11th in 2023 and last in 2024). Lithuania seems to be on a steady top 15 trajectory, with 8th at highest and 14th as lowest, although I wished they had finished a little higher this year with a top ten or at least top 13 left side of the board. Hopefully they can spring back up unless Lithuania seriously screws up next year, but you never know. Every year is a new slate.

Here are my predictions of who could win soon (based off previous results):
Armenia = They have been doing well since 2022, their placements only increasing since then. I forsee them winning soon.
Croatia = They have also been doing well recently, wouldnt be surprised if they win soon aswell, but maybe 2nd is the best they get like Australia
Finland = Im not too educated on National finals, but they always seem the topic of discussion, mostly by not sending a potential winner. Maybe the stars align one day and they will win?
France = They have also been doing quite well in the contest recently and they do deserve their win if they do win soon.
Israel = If the politics stay the same like in 2024, Israel could have a chance to win the Televote and if the Jury favourite doesnt recieve a sufficient Televote score in that scenario, Israel may take home the victory. I'll leave the consequences of that up in the air.
Lithuania = In a similar vein as Armenia, Lithuania has been doing well at the contest recently, narrowly missing the top 10 a few times. One good song and I predict they have a shot at winning.
Joost Klein = If he returns for no matter what country, he will most likely be a Televote smash hit, just leaving the Question of the Jury score.
San Marino = This is more of a desperate wish for San Marino to do well in 2025, so they maybe consider staying after that contest.
Spain = They could take the Switzerland approach to winning, mainly by getting a great result (2022), followed by two alright results (2023, 2024), before winning (2025?)
Again, just my guesses, maybe some country could win out of nowhere.

I love how the year before the serbian win (2006), while giving out their points (as Serbia and Montenegro) the spokeswoman said that they would return the next year with the best song, and they did 😂.
Also I still can’t accept Ukraine winning in 2022 as it was hands down pity votes. I think they should have been allowed to participate with a song but not compete and get a score as it was very unfair on Sam and Chanel.

@@Wailmur romania was a nice song but wouldn’t have had any chance at winning. It could however have done well with the jury and maybe even landed left hand side of the final with their aid.
Lithuania was weaker and less jury friendly than Iceland but the next year, The Roop beat Dadi to the 12’s from us, Ireland and Norway, and both regressed by the same degree in 2021 (not a lot but the first was the best).
Bulgaria had great chances with both sides of the vote but I don’t think people would have wanted virtually the same song to win twice in a row. It may have fallen short on televote but would have been no lower than 6th with them.
