When it comes to Raleigh, I think its going be the "downtown south" project. Just think of a north hills community right next to downtown Raleigh! 😲 😱

Very good point. Some projects have slowed down or even been put on hold so we shall see if it all comes to fruition but if it does that area will be something else 🤯

A total abomination. People are seriously delusional if they think this unchecked “development” equals progress.

I agree. People and businesses are being encouraged to move here causing the price of rentals and homes to sky rocket not to mention the increased in traffic, our schools, hospitals and doctor's offices are jammed. Our daughter teaches in Johnston County and the high school she's at has three times the capacity it was build for just a decade ago. We sold our house in Raleigh that we had owned for 13 years because we needed something more for retirees and we couldn't even afford Raleigh anymore. We ended up moving to Clayton and we see the same thing happening here. Until NC requires builders to help with the roads and schools and stops giving tax breaks to mega corporations, this will continue until the area is ruined.
