- Anthony Albanese’s war with Elon Musk has gotten more “vicious” and “cynical” after the Prime Minister hit out at the billionaire’s “ego”, according to Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
Following criticism from the Prime Minister over X’s decision not to take down violent footage of a stabbing, the billionaire took aim at Mr Albanese.
“I’d like to take a moment to thank the PM for informing the public that this platform is the only truthful one,” Mr Musk said.
Mr Bolt said the X owner has become a “hate figure of the left” since taking over the platform.
“The second thing to remember is that Musk is not some sociopath demanding the right to sow division. Albanese is just defaming him,” he said.
“No, he is actually serious about free speech.”

What if there was another reason for the govt to want to censor the footage of both alleged stabbing incidents apart from M*slims? Maybe because it shows a number of very weird things, eg no blood. In the case of the church "stabbing", the flick knife that was used doesn't appear to actually come out of its retracted position.
The mob that appeared outside the church in the immediate aftermath of the alleged incident was apparently M*slim. It would have been coordinated with the media event within the church, of course, and the govt wants to keep a lid on that. Nor do you have to like M*slims or Isl*m if you don't want to.
However, people need to develop the capacity to think along more than one axis at once. If you're full of righteous indignation about how the govt is pandering to Isl*m, and it is, but are ignoring the other questions the footage forces one to ask, then you are falling victim to a limited hangout.
