I sent my pro back and went back to using my gt2.
Everytime I'd sweat when running the ceramic would fuck the heart rate monitor up. But never happened with the plastic back of the gt2.
Exactly the same watch anyway bar a few unnecessary features.

Would it benefit a non Huawei user? I've got the OnePlus 6 and no plans of moving to Huawei. Would i Still get all the benefits or am I better off with another watch? It's either this or the Fitbit Versa 3 to replace my Vivoactive 3.

What kind of "screen on" settings are available? Is there a setting that will allow me to leave the screen on for 30 seconds or more so that I could read text messages when they come in?

I have the watch GT and Honor magic watch 2 and like them however I am truly disappointed that the watch faces and a few other features don't work at all. From what I understand Canada is not permitted to have those features because the info would be stored in China and with all the trade issues with the US we are also affected. Sigh 🥺
Big question I'm big on watch faces and having different ones I have a xiaomi 10 Pro phone it is Android having a hard time anywhere to change or get watch faces for my existing while we GT2 any help on how or what to do to find new watch faces would be great... Thanks
Thank you for the video. It's really informative for the new watch owners. I will have a question about using NFC feature in Canada. (for GT2 Pro) There is not even an option in the menu as NFC on/off. Or OneHop feature. I contacted with Huawei support and they told me to uninstall the Huawei Health app and reinstall HMS Core and Health by choosing the region as UK. But it didn't work. Do you have any suggestions for that?

Yes, I have the GT2 Pro in the UK and I have the route back facility, so you can find your way back to your route start point.

Could you explain how do you transfer and make your own facewatch? I have tried and it doesn't show me any of the options you have mentioned... I am not happy with the available face watches and I wanted my own
You can only add photos via choosing the Gallery watch via Watch Faces and ‘Mine’ the Gallery watch face is in the top left hand corner. There are no legitimate ways to get 3rd Party Watch faces other than downloading the Huawei Health App via Tai Chi, this is not secure or stable.
I have just read an article that GT2 pro watches now take ECG measurements, the GT2 pro is £139 at argos.....I remember when it was £250
The Huawei P20 cellphone and the Huawei GT2 have Google Playstore but I do wish Huawei would adopt Samsung's ability to delete options that I don't want or need.

GT2 Pro has apps support. You can install apps like Maps. GT2 Pro has wireless charging, SpO2 and VO2max sensors. GT2 lacks these features.

The pro has apps but tbh they aren't anything to rage about, I'm currently deciding between the pro and the gt 2, but I'm thinking of getting the regular gt 2 as it is just so much cheaper

Not directly to the watch.you can connect it to the Huawei Health App though

It depends on what style/model you like more. Sporty GT2 or a bit more classy GT2pro. Personally, had both of them, and I can assure you that the pro model is the upper class. :)
The only thing that I am missing is an option to show emoji‘s when I get my messages. This is definitely a must have for me...
You can now download an App called Mood Messenger which allows basic emojis and standard replies to be sent from your GT2 Pro watch.

Agreed Dave it is very basic, but it allows you to reply using your watch when you don't want to grab your phone out of your pocket. This is not a Wear OS device like the first Classic Huawei Smart watch so limited to the Apps Huawei currently provide.

Get the 42 mm version not the 46 mm
Not really good advice you forget to mention no call speakers and duble the money for less actions ,i think gt2 46 mm is still over this in confort calls and budget.

It has got a speaker I own 1 and it has a good volume I went with the pro for the stronger screen and the looks also feels lot better on the skin than the normal gt 2
the huawei GT2 is at 201 USD, the GT2 pro 235 USD and GT3 at 313 USD. which one is worth buying?
If you're on a budget, the GT 2 should hold on just well the next couple years. Its like buying the newest iphone. The GT 2 delivers for sure. If you have the budget, go for the GT 3! Good luck.

More or less its the same as GT2 just with better screen protection and different case material for twice the price. Looks I wont comment much but I will say I dont like it. Apps are only few and watch was released more than 6 months ago.
