    XXXXCreamy Tomato Pasta recipe:XXXX
    One 16oz bag brown rice pasta
    1 head broccoli
    1 clove garlic
    For the sauce:
    24 oz jar crushed or diced tomatoes
    2 tbsp tomato paste
    1 tsp maple syrup
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp Italian seasonings
    2 tbsp Cashew Sour cream (Not necessary but makes the pasta creamy. Just blend 1 cup cashews, 3 tbsp lemon juice, 1/8 tsp salt, and 1/2 c water in a high speed blender until smooth,, store in airtight container and use throughout the week on sandwiches, as a dip or on tacos, etc)
    2 tbsp hemp seeds
    Chili flakes to taste if you like spicy
    3 tbsp kalamata olives (optional)
    3 tbsp nutritional yeast
    STEP 1
    Saute 1 head broccoli + minced garlic in a little water to keep the veggies from sticking to the pan
    STEP TWO
    Boil pasta according to package instructions
    STEP 3
    Once veggies are cooked down, add the sauce ingredients to the pan and turn the heat to low to let simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    STEP 4
    Add the cooked noodles to the sauce and mix together on low heat for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, adding more spices if desired. Serve and enjoy!
