Bill’s biggest flaw is not knowing how to be his own man, one way or another. Surely it stems from his family issues. He wants to be seen as strong but he’s very vulnerable. A lot of the camp seems to get a kick out of getting a laugh at his expense. I think Bill of all characters had the most potential for a change of heart character arc had the prequel been released first. Javier seemed like a survivor, but Bill seemed like he wouldn’t know what to do with himself if he wasn’t running with a crew. It’s a shame we didn’t get to see him stand up to Dutch and Micah toward the end of the game due to the events that must happen in the sequel. I think a reformed Bill could’ve been one of the most wholesome characters in red dead
I was always a little confused about why Bill was so loyal to Dutch, a he was always mocking him. Despite this, I always liked Bill, he’s one of my favorites.
Bill ended up doing his own thing as the leader of his own gang. And his gang must have had hundreds of men, seeing as how John had to mow them down wave after wave at Fort Mercer.
Because Dutch lifted him up and gave him a purpose when Bill was at his lowest point. It’s the same reason they’re all so loyal to Dutch and Bill knows that the mockery is all just talk because when it really came down to it and Bill needed help Dutch and the gang were always ready to back him up like when he was caught by bounty hunters or in the bar fight
Bill is underrated , and doesnt deserve the hate he is getting from players , he is just a person who is lost , and Dutch saved him , he is one of the my favorite character
When I played rdr1, I had no problem getting killing Bill. But after rdr2, I don't think it was right for Bill to be killed in such a way. Especially by John.

Ya’know this is probably just me trying to reach really, really hard here but I also wonder if his “deviancy” is also because of Bill’s awkward social interactions. I noticed that he trips over his words often and he tends to laugh during inappropriate times, kinda like Arthur Fleck in the Joker movie. Not full on laughing fits but his little giggles flowed by a deliberate effort in trying to make his point (almost like he’s aware of his laughing and gets a frustrated tone), makes me wonder if there’s a psychological issue that was unfortunately not able to be treated..
I've got anxiety and potentially ASD and I can imagine the laughter is a result of one of those two, if not both. People often laugh to ingratiate themselves to their colleagues and it could have developed into a nervous tic or habit over time. Potential autism could also explain the deviancy charge.

Javier Escualla is definitely pronounced Escueya but his name should be Escuela which means School in Spanish, the last name as written in the game makes no sense as a Mexican last name so I believe it was meant to be Escuela and was misspelled in the final game.
Basically, this applies to the U.S. military. A Section 8 is a type of dishonorable discharge granted for sexual DEVIANCY, and was normally used to discharge homosexuals from the military.
It would be really cool if you covered what people did between the main story and epilogue. If any info about this has been shared, it would also be cool to see what characters did between rdr2 and rdr1.

Arthur was blindly loyal due to having been raised by the dutch n hosea, and had beef with John because he hated him for leaving the gang & his family behind (which has everything to do with Arthur having himself lost his lil family due to not being serious enough about protecting them). He doesnt really praise dutch though... talks fondly of him but admits to loving Hosea more. Arthur is an angry and depressed man, but keeps that anger well concealed. Bill is angry and deeply insecure, and his anger is explosive and frequent. Bill constantly wants to prove himself, Arthur knows he doesn't have to. Arthur also doesnt vent his personal anger on others... Bill can hardly converse with people without getting mad. I dont know, theyre real different to me. Theyre both fairly sentimental inside and hide that, but they express things so differently.

Also I had unintentionally skipped a lot of gameplay (challenges, stranger missions, camp interactions, unique chapter events) so it’s not like replaying felt repetitive

I started liking bull in chapter 2 after I got him some hair pomade, and he returned the favor with high velocity rifle rounds, and some pomade.
