  • The Loyalsock Trail is a 59 mile trail that runs from PA Rt. 87 to US Rt. 220 and traverses highlights such as Smith Knob, Kettle Creek Gorge, Ketchum Run, World’s End State Park and the Haystack Rapids.
The trail follows the Loyalsock Creek. Loyalsock is a corruption of the Algonquian word Lawi-Saquick meaning “middle creek” as the Loyalsock flows between both Muncy and Lycoming Creeks).
This video includes days 4 and 5 for my thru hike of the LT, starting from just before World’s End State Park and hiking ~12 miles to Sones Pond and then the remaining 6 miles back to the Eastern Trailhead.
