    Love this. Stamina and recovery is so important for an athlete. You can be skilled but if your legs give out in crucial moments, you’ll never be the player you could be.

      So true, I am not a very skilled player compared to my teammates. But after 10-15 minutes of a game, I beat many of them in game training due to this reason.

    It helps your overall game tbh. I don’t play anymore but when I did, when I was fit, my legs felt light during the game etc. so I had the advantage. You just feel more fresh during a game and more springy on your feet.

    Marat, I was invited to two D2 practices for tryouts and I feel like I did not perform as well as I could have. I have little experience regarding tryouts, but the coaches said I could go to their Tuesday practice for one more evaluation. I feel nervous and I’m not sure how to prove my skills to them within an unfamiliar environment. Do you have any tips for me?

    I would also add direct plyometric training( plyo hops, single legs hops, bonds & lateral hops) as it will make you jump higher sprint and job faster without using alot of energy resource.

    Marat, do you have any tips for getting rid of cramps? I have great stamina overall (I also represent my school in cross-country) but near the end of games (like around the 70-80th minute) I sometimes get calf cramps.

      You need to make sure you take a lot of sodium before hand and get dynamic stretches in! And during the game if you need extra stretches, just quickly stretch

    How much of a break would you recommend between sprints from the first workout and the hill repeaters from the third workout? And how many sets & reps would you recommended for the first workout?

      You want to limit the amount of break time as much as possible, but to get super technical, it’s best to use a heart rate monitor so that you can speed up the process of recovery
      But as of now just take a long enough break to where you feel fine, but not good. You want to feel tired but able to do another one!

      It’s not a scam, but it doesn’t work as marketed. Meaning your body won’t feel like it’s training in altitude to where you get those altitude training benefits. BUT it’ll help strengthen your respiratory system which is good!

    A great alternative to the Hill sprints is the John Terry Routine 18 kmh at 12% incline 20 seconds on 40 seconds off for 15 reps (work up to it)

    I'm sorry but i can't get 5 or higher touches consistently. I did 7 touches but as a fluke
    My first touches are WAY better than before but the main problem is my accuracy on the rebound but I'm getting better

      Let’s GO! work on just controlling even just the first and single touch after the rebound! Focus on just that portion for the next week, and THEN work on maximizing the amount of consistent touches!
      Reason is that you need to focus on where the ball lands on your foot and get comfortable with how that feels. Once you do, then it’s about getting consistent with hitting that sweet spot.
