This one indeed had good vocals and staging, but this is still a song competition.. and this song wasn't good enough for a higher place.. 😌

I can remember this but not the winner. They will be using this to promote Eurovision and not the other. Australia is up against countries voting for each other. As the UK found out it is a political game as well.

@@mithrasrevisited4873 Of course it's a political game and usually the jury is responsible for the political voting. In televoting people most of the times vote for the song they actually like and that's the reason why the jury and televoting point difference for each country is ridiculous sometimes. Australia if I remember correctly did a bit better in televoting that year, but still the song wasn't good enough to be in top 3. The presentation was certainly magnificent and the singer had great vocals, but the song was just okay in comparison. The Netherlands and Italy songs had already become popular before the contest and remain memorable till this day. That's how I see it at least.. 😌
