    I was just in Laos 🇱🇦. Such a beautiful country full of great people.
    I love how pretty much everyone in that part of the world grows tons of fruit trees.
    They never lost the knowledge to grow your own food.

      In Trinidad the yellow coconut is called Chinese Coconut tree.

      you are correct about growing our own foods. I have small yard with limited space, but is trying to make the best use of the space I have.

    I wished the camera person went up close on each of the plant so we can see and enjoy each one of them closer since we are unable to be there in person, otherwise great video! Congratulations and great job brother 😀

    We have a sweet and spicy sauce to eat with the green mangoes ☺️ Lao bamboo soup is the best! Once you taste it you wouldn't want anything else 😊 Love his garden!!

    The small seeded fruit is called susumba or gully bean .It is grown wild in Jamaica,in backyards and abandoned lands and gully areas (gully beans ).

    Wow, lucky him to be able to plant fruit from Laos. Bamboo soup or mushrooms soup is very health Lao foods. These are my favorite soups.

    Mango from the Philippines is known to be the best and sweetest in the world shape like what he has (teardrop shape). The best ones are from the Visayas region (IloIlo).

      He is from Laos but he must be Chinese descendent because his English is much much better than the most Laotian who live in the US.

    Squirrels and Raccoons knows better not to trespass Billy's yard. Especially when he has a lot of Lemongrass, Kaffir leaves, and Galanga roots laying around. These three ingredients are great with wild games. 😂😂😂😂

    I backed packed from one end of Laos to the other end truly a beautiful country and lovely people. Now there is a bridge that spans from Thailand to Laos, but at the time of my trek there was not one and so I took a boat from Laung Prabang up the Mekong River to Thailand a 2 day trip a great memory.

    I am in Northern CA and it is very hard to grow tropical fruit. Even growing lemon grass is a struggle. The only thing that does well here are succulents and persimmons

    Those are custard apples/ Annona reticulata. Spanish/cuban speaking people call them "chirimoya"- that's where the confusion with cherimoya comes from.
    Great video.

    The first flower tree with the purple flowers around 20m looks like a crepe myrtle, which as he mentioned is grown commercially and is often planted in parks meridians and other greenspaces as it's very low maintenance in FL.

    I love how his trellis for the dragon fruit is so low. Usually people make them a lot higher, which I do not like. I’m going to try it his way.

    Very interesting because i came from Cambodia, Kiew Savoy ( Svay Keo in Cambodian) and Svay means Mango. Another plant with spiky trunk no one know the name in Southern California, they call Kapok (from chinese word), Kapok is the fruit and the plant call Kapokier (french writing).

      The name is Ceiba (Ceiba petandra) a tree native to Mexico and is a tree sacred to the Maya people.

    the bitter plant; we call it "Tawar Racun" on Indonesia, its good for detox poison; like malaria, etc, you eat that with a capsul, just slice it and put on capsul, you never tasted a bitter... i think if some
    researcher find that,it may be useful for discovering various new drugs

    I think fruit trees shed leaves before they blossom take note of that we used the dry coconut meat the dry ones to make rice and beans and that milk is so good in a lot of meals just slice in thin pieces and blend good milk
