My overall favorite so far this year is Cogshall. What it lacks in color it makes up for in flavor, size and relatively small seed. Lemon Meringue is also Devine. Alfonso, Glenn and Florida Red, are also amazing. Found all of these one stop South Merritt Island. Happy Days!

The audio on this production is not the high quality of your other videos . When you brought up the sap when picking Mangos, Mr.Zill was not all that interested/ or concerned about it ,other than no sap was an indication of being on the tree too long . Mr. Zill was pointing out some type of other indication on the Mango that give a tell - tell sign the fruit is ready to pick . Could you explain what he was talking about . With 30 years of experience myself of growing mangos Myself and iam far from being an expert that is for sure . We always followed the bloom cycle on the Mango trees , to determine when to pick . Year after year , we knew from when the bloom began that tree would be ready on such an such date . This has been tried and true year after year . We have been known to follow the critters eating the mangos as another sign to check for maturity . However this can not be held up as an indication, because the critters will eat Mango fruit when totally green long before any ripening . One variety the critters will eat the whole crop baby green is the Choc - Anon Mango. The bacterial black spot that has been mentioned a lot lately. I have also seen ,this jump from variety to variety in the last 5 years . Also totally skip same variety one season to the next . Applications of Neem oil has helped over the years ,and pruning infected branches and discarding off site or burning the pruning cuttings . P. S. What was Mr. Zill showing you all on the fruit for indication of maturity.
