Elgar concerto equals Du Pre, for me. I love her. This is the first time I have ever listened to this masterpiece from a cellist other than Du Pre. I had the strange feeling that she was listening together with me. Thank you. I wish I listened to you in the concert hall. 😘
Grand merci madame Thomas.
A truly moving performance giving a strangely personal reading to a masterpiece that has been played and recorded, often live, by countless great soloists, conductors and orchestras. This can stand comparison with them all from Jacquie du Pre to Yo Yo Ma, to……whoever. Bravo bravissimo
What is knocking all the time? Very disturbing. Sad to See that throughout your career you started pressing the bow. Pretty Sure that this is not what Stephan Forck teaches 😬 but your confidence is impressive! Congrats!
Camille is one of the kind. I cried through the first movement, which has never happened for me before. Hope I had been in the concert to experience this personally.
So many time ago that I don't cry listening to a performance, you achieve it Camille. Wonderful, you make magic beyond the notes and that's what the audience love while seeing you oy and listening ening your music. Continue shinning.

What a beautiful, sensitive, nuanced performance. I feel as though she is not just playing an instrument, she IS the instrument.

Her performance is full of sorrows and joys of the human world
It evokes such deep emotion. It helps me to sleep while weeping from buried feelings that hurts so much. It's beautifully outstanding.
Nobody will ever surpass Jacqueline Du Pre !
Nobody does it better than Jacqueline du Pre, sorry but facts.
The camera work on this is truly splendid. I love the zooming in on her playing, cello and bow. Even from the back. @
Very difficult melodies for everybody
One of the most beautiful, moving and emotional music ever composed
Camille has such a wonderful, delicate, poetic interpretation!
Best live opening performance of this, ever.
What again, over an over again, a great performance by Thomas of this beautiful and complex Elgar's Cello Concerto
The conductor and orchestra are incredible. Very sharp and responsive sound combine to give a very clear sense of support to the cellist.
What a wonderful interpretation! Camille is amazing!!!
I feel the passion and enthusiasm deeply embedded in every single note!
