Nothing else can be said, that has already being said. I keep on coming back to watch Thomas, performing one of my favorite Cello Concerts. Her beauty is amazing, but that doesn't make a great musician or anything else; it is virtuosity, dedication and excellence in what they do. Camille is definitely at the very top of contemporary cellist. her performance of Saint-Saens Cello Concerto 1is amazing

One of the best interpretations of Sint-Saens Cello concerto I've never heard!
Maybe it's my imagination but it seems to me I caught a couple instances where she forcefully bends the rest of the ensemble to her interpretation particularly vis-a-vis tempo. Nice satisfying fulfillment of the lead role. Kudos also to the conductor for being alert, reactive, and dynamic in his director's role. And the rest of the musicians are nice and tight and reflexive. I like. Did I mention that warm and lively "springy" cello timbre? Great.

Thought I would just pause and take a sample and I ended up staying for the entire concerto. It was if every note was perfectly played and her fingers just worked effortlessly like magic.
Me too!!! I normally check to see if the music is good so I can add it to my liked videos, which I keep for music. I ended up listening to the entire thing... oops!

The Offenbach piece is literally the most beautiful thing I have ever heard in my life. I was in tears by the end after listening it outside with my eyes closed. Unbelievable.

@@manetmonetimp The name of the piece is "Les Larmes de Jacqueline". Not sure of the meaning, as I am not studied in French, but be warned that there are not many interpretations of it. Seems to be a very uncommonly known piece.
Thank you Elof. Indeed I found the piece as jacqline tears op 7/2 and in French as per your answer. On my IPOD I have all of Offenbach operas but missed this small gem due to its shortness. Anyway great music.

I have been listening to (and watching) Gautier Capuçon’s performance of this, so I am used to his intonation. Then today, I listened to this one and wow! Such a different interpretation but I love it! To me, it sounded more romantic somehow....and those lower registers gave me chills! Stradivarius delivers along with her playing. Merci!!! 👏👏👏
