How To Use Hard Wax

- It's very important to understand how to use hard wax. You want to make sure you finish the wax strip where there is no hair. This ensures you won't break all the hairs at the end of the strip. You also want to lay your initial strips in the direction of the hair growth. This will get rid of the bulk of the hair. Then, apply clean up strips in the opposite direction to get rid of the small amount of hairs left behind. Enjoy!

But here with the first strip (after cleaning the middle area), are you not applying it the other way, so as to remove it from the already depilated center area and this client has hair growing in-and-downwards? thanks if you can help! my husband is not too excited about my first try hahah

That kind of wax looks like it work really well. It looks like it doesn't crack at all. It works really well in all the videos that I've seen it used it... I'll have to get some, to try it...
May crack if left for more than 2-4 seconds, or longer.
I have similar amount of hairs on my back, they told I am a soft wax type, hard wax causes hair breakage, but I see the you always use hard wax.

Waxing is very easy since I just practice the tips from estheticians who give the right information. I think the part that was kinda tricky for me was making the lip.

I brought off ebay and found applying it thickly removes hair way better and pulling against the grain removes the hairs 💕

what if you have crappy wax beads is there something you can add to your wax to help with that because mine don’t get to a good spreading consistency unless its super hot and at that point it’s too hot to put on to the skin
If the wax is crap, then there's nothing you can do. Have to get a high quality wax

I bought hard wax beans (aloe vera) from amazon, i did what you said but when I stripped it, it broke into little pieces.
Most of the waxes on Amazon are crap. I recommend purchasing from the company directly! All the waxes I tried on Amazon broke on me as well... not good quality.

in hard wax can we use strips for better pulling??
I'm currently using Mermaid Wax. In the video I was using Starpil. With hard wax there is no need for strips. For one it's not sticky at all, once it cools it's more like rubber. To make it easier to pull you can just lay it on a bit thicker at the end or "lip" as we call it.

I waxed my belly for the first time using a hard wax and noticed stretch marks on it after waxing. I do not remember that I had stretch marks there. Could the wax have caused it by tearing the skin? It is called e-Wax Titan for sensitive skin and has these components written on it: Glyceryl rosinate, Parrafin, Hydrogenated, Microcrystalline, Wax, Parrafinum, Titanium Dioxide. Made in China... Thank you.
I've never heard of waxing causing stretch marks? I'm not familiar with that wax but if it's made in China, it's definitely not a high quality wax. I only use Mermaid Wax

Starpil is great that's what I currently use and recommend. Also Berodin, Miss Cire, Cirepil all good
So when I wax with hard wax, there tends to be wax residue left over. How can I reduce that?
It depends on the wax that you're using. The lower quality waxes will leave more residue. Otherwise, you would need to clean up the way to lay your strips. I would have to be there watching to be sure!

I'm curious ... why do some men shave their heads before they wax it? Isn't there supposed to be some growth for the wax to adhere to? Is it less painful that way and is it just as beneficial?
I would never recommend to wax your head.
It reduces pain by having the hair only as long as it needs to be.
I had a question why do people get pigmentation when using hard wax I’ve seen it especially on the underarms? I always do test strips on myself before but idk why it happens. Please help. Also love your videos! 💓
I'm not an expert, but think it's not about the wax but more like friction? I think people who shave may have it more often. It can be also genetic I guess. I used to shave and wax and never had it. Now I only use my epilator on my armpits and still don't have it.
That's more common on dark skin and it has to do with inflammation and irritation from the wax pulling the hair.

This is really good looking wax. And it seem more like a latex gel like wax. Flexible and peasant to touch. But the price for 500g is £23 or $32 it’s so expensive. I mean it way to expensive to use on my clients. It will bring me any profit

ok so I love the video but this application seem like it’s for soft waxing with a strip. In cosmetology we learned that hard wax is to be applied against the grain and pulled off with the grain that’s why it’s different from soft waxing. if you would’ve had a strip you wouldn’t have done anything differently 🤔 so I think that’s where i’m confused but I love the wax recommendations
Cosmo school told you wrong. Hard wax is applied in the direction of the hair growth, and removed the opposite! Sorry for the confusion!

I use powder when waxing my bikini/brazilian area and underarms. Otherwise, it depends but you don't have to.
