- Nervous about Men's Nose Hair Waxing? Don't be!
Waxing your nose hair is a great way to help you breathe as well as get rid of those annoying and embarrassing hairs that love to pop out at the worst times.
Keep in mind, you don’t want to just shove a stick with a ball of wax up your nose without knowing what you’re doing! Going too far up into the nose can seriously damage your nose. You only want to remove the hairs right on the inside of the base of your nose, nothing further.
I only recommend hard wax when doing a nose wax. Soft wax could easily harm areas with a sensitive skin lining, such as the inside of your nose.
Hard wax is more similar to candle wax. You lay it on and wait for it to cool. This allows for the wax to encapsulate the hair and suction cup it so when you pull the wax off, the hair comes with it. Hard wax only adheres to your hair, not the skin so it also hurts less than soft wax and is safer on the skin.
To Wax Nose Hair:
First, if they have facial hair, cover it! I use a little piece of paper towel to cover the hair. Other people just add a little dab of oil but I still get nervous the hair will get stuck, so I only use a paper towel. Also, if they have a nose ring, remove it! Definitely don’t want wax getting stuck on there and potentially ripping it out!
Second, you’ll clean the area with a pre wax cleanser. Some people like to then use a pre-wax oil, I tend to not feel the need to do that though. If your client has facial hair, like mine does, you’ll want to ensure to cover those hairs so wax doesn’t get stuck in the hair. Not good!!! I just rip off a little piece of paper towel so I can place it over their facial hair before I wax them.
Next, get a tiny ball of wax on your small stick. You want the wax to be slow moving, like honey or molasses. If the wax falls right off your stick, it’s too hot and you will burn your client. If it doesn’t move at all, then the wax is too cool and won’t be able to adhere to the hair.
Once you get a small ball of wax on your stick, make sure your paper towel is there to cover their facial hair and place it just in the inside of your client's inner nose. I only recommend going about half a centimeter inside the nose with your stick. Spin the stick and move it around to all sides of the nose so you can ensure you get all the hair. Give it a light squeeze so that wax is sure to stick to those stubborn hairs.
Wait until the wax feels hard to the touch, then pinch the nose and pull! PULL HARD! Don’t hesitate as this will cause a lot more pain to your client.
I always check the nose and see if any hairs were missed. Nose hair can go in all different directions so it’s not uncommon to have to do a second pass. I tend to like to do a second pass in the “bat cave” which is the upper corner of the nose. Everyone is different though so it really depends on what your client needs.
After the wax I will use a little post wax lotion or even some hydrocortisone cream just on the outside of the nose.
Then BREATHE! It feels so cool to breathe through your nose without those little hairs on the base. Voila, you’re all done!

I heard that.
Lmao
She really good at her job and/or explaining
Aw thank you!
this guys subtle facial expression after he heard : i am going to do 1 more , that is priceless.
Hahah!
🤣🤣
I haven’t done a nose wax on a client in YEARS! Now I have a client coming in tomorrow so I appreciate the refresher !!
Absolutely hun!
This man is so patient and good sport LOL
Lmao. My guy is so stoic looking. Like “ can we just get this finished , I don’t want my mates to know I’m doing this “.
the danger in the man’s eyes😭
Just waxed my nose with starpil hard wax. Your video have helped a bunch. Also did my armpits which is a little difficult on your own but I’m a first time waxer. Not as painful as I thought. Will be having my husband do my back and other bits lol.
This is best nostril waxing video I've seen. Looking at the wax you have on your site now.
Thank you so much!
His face at 5:26 at “I’ll probably get punched” 🤣
I saw your comment, and made sure I watched the timestamp you left 😂😂😂😂
I have tweezed my nasal cavity numerous times and find that when it grows back there is A BUNCH of itching and sneezing. Cant beat the one time unpleasant feeling rather than tweezing yourself. Cant help but but think that the same would occur here as well. I can only recommend regular treatments in order to prevent the constant sneezing and itching. Gotta admit this persons treatment is much more thorough than my tweezing. But, again, regular treatments.
just trim the nose hair, you need nose hair to filter what you breathe in so you shouldn’t remove it completely
Omg I just waxed mine before I read this. Not looking forward to the itchiness.
Missed your videos hope your doing well!
jj uuuuuuuu uhhhh yuguy
She's nervous around him and the guy looks like my brother.😆🤣
These videos tend to show the hair on the waxing tool but what could be really novel would be showing a lit-up high resolution view of the inside of their nostril after the waxing. Of course, I imagine the client might have to agree first to such a “revealing” view being visible to the world
Good idea!
Love watching your videos! I just recently got a pearl waxing kit and I am going to order some of your mermaid wax for it! My legs are super sensitive and lots of waxes don't work on me so wish me luck!!
60 years old and just now learning this is a thing.
Never pluck your nose hairs, they are there for a very specific evolved reason.
Unless you want to risk illnesses, infections and or brain infections...
Just trim them.

This Guy Is Beauty!!!! I hope your friends! 😅😂
Are ingrowns a problem with nose hair waxing? Not a place you can exfoliate lol
I doubt it. Nose hairs are generally poker straight and very thick/coarse. I don’t think one could get trapped for very long LOL
Client be like
👀
Plz dont kill me girl
Love this video and the ear waxing video! 🙆🏽♀️🙏🏽✨ Thank you! Definitely will keep checking out your videos! 👍🏽💯
Thank you so much 🤗
Thank god her hair is pulled back. As a licensed esthetician it kills me when I see videos of people doing demos with rings on or not following best sanitation practices
I am feeling bad for the customer
Did you do the other side ? It would be funny if had just one side waxed
The nose mullet.
Thanks for the demonstration. Very well explained. So to do the ears and nose we need to use sticks every time? Does it sometimes come out without the wax sticking to it? I've never used a stick when I do my nose. I just did my boyfriend's ears without it, but just did the surface and a bit in. It was his first time and I didn't want to freak him out lol!
I always use sticks!

the guys faces are so funny to me🤣
He was a trooper! Haha
“A dab of wa-, I meant oil”. 😂
watching this because I did it on my dad for the first time and took part of his mustache 🤦🏻♀️
Oh no!! Haha that must have been awful...
Love your videos
Thank you so much!
That was very nice 😀
Thanks!
Instead of using paper towel to cover up the mustache, I use masking tape.
Is it better to have the client laying down?
where can i do this
I'll stick with a nose hair trimmer.
How much time do you leave the wax in the nose before pulling?
About 30 second to a minute. Depends on how much wax I put on my stick, the temperature of the room your in, the humidity in the room, etc. But I'll feel the wax that's poking out of the nose to ensure the wax has cooled and hardened.
You are thorough I wish I knew you
Aw thank you!
I trim my nose hair with one of those small trimmers. Why would you punish yourself ?
It's not bad and waxing lasts way longer.
@@hissnkittenwaxing How long does waxing last?
Great job 🤗👍
Thanks!
You would sneeze a lot less but then you'd be breathing lot more dust right in your lungs I pull my nose hairs all the time when they're bothering me but just like a few of them
MOrons..nose hair serves a purpose..it traps particles to keep them from your lungs etc ...
That's why only the nose hairs sticking right out are being waxed, the inner nose hairs which are protecting from dust aren't getting pulled. Looks like someone needs to learn to listen before leaving dumb comments 😂
Man, the amount of shit I’ve intentionally put in my lungs, this is nothing. My lungs can take another one for the team
Girlfriend: "He's definitely sleeping with someone else. I know it"
Guy:
Hahah
Im so getting this done. I bet you feel awesome after it.
Absolutely!

You do NOT want to be waxing nose hair! Trimming with scissors is best. The nose has a different type of skin and hair follicles and you risk giving yourself a serious infection if you rip out those follicles. Dr. Oz has a video on this.
Dr Oz is a quack 🦆
How long does the smoothness last until the hair grows back?
I recommend waxing every 3-6 weeks :)

What temperature do you use for nose hair?
I never focus on the temperature of the wax. Instead, focus on getting the right consistency! The wax should move like honey or molasses.
Hello sister, for the first time we try to remove hair in the sensitive area with wax, but it is very difficult. Is there anything that helps reduce pain before removing hair?
A topical numbing cream from the drug store :) you might have to ask a pharmacist depending on where you are
There are like tons of product that help you makes waxing much more tolerant and comfortable in the market. You can try consulting your local pharmacist, they should everything from numbing cream to over-the-counter painkillers which should all work as well.
Why do you remove nose hair is it good or bad ?
We're only removing the hairs that polk out of the nose. :)
How long does it last?
Most people wax every 4 weeks :)
Nose hair are in there for a reason. Just trim
no
@@crose6250 yes inbred.

Xen… I seriously doubt it. Don’t trim your nipple hair either.
How long does it take for the wax to cool?
For the nose, about 1min to fully cool.
What after wax cream you use?
Question off topic from nose hair-can we use hard wax and a thin cloth on a flat surface?
Nose hairs are functional. By removing all he is removing the air filter of his lungs.
All that is needed is to cut the down hanging hairs.
I'm not removing all the nose hairs, just the ones that stick out of the nose.
I dooooooon't think it's good to remove those hairs...
It’s safe to remove the nose hair in the lower areas, in the video this point is stressed. Don’t go too far in
Love watching your videos!........u look so beautiful..................i like u babe!!!!
So beautiful ❤
I guess that needs to be done once a week or 10 days otherwise what's the point?
That's the most Greek comment ever! Damn, 7-10 days?!! :(
Nose hair is the most irritating thing.
Agreed!
does this hurt?
Surprisingly it's not bad!
how much do you charge???
Unfortunately I'm not accepting new clients, my apologies!
CAN WE JUST FOCUS ON WHAT'S REALLY IMPORTANT HERE ? THIS GIRL IS HOT WITH A CUTE PERSONALITY, JUST SAYIN
How long does it last before next treatment ?
Most people wax once a month!
Dude is hot.
He makes me feel uncomfortable 😂
You did twice on the same side? Thats a no… you’re not supposed to do that
i need to do this, i tweeze mine out chunk by chunk and fuck... teary and sneezy
Omg that sounds terrible!
This is how you get nasal vestibulitis. Use a trimmer.
To each their own.
Ouch 😁😁😁😁
It's actually not bad!
What’s name of wax ? What brand name?
Mermaid wax
He looks like Channing Tatum 😍
Do not wax or cut off your nose hairs. Only trim them if they are growing out of the nose. I dermaplaned my nose and I now have a terrible sinus infection
It's all about technique :) So sorry that happened to you.
Pink covid test
🤗
This is totally weird, this guy look like me! 😳
Never wax or pull out nose hair. The triangle of death is very real. Thos can kill you
We're just removing the hair that sticks out from the nose. I'm not shoving a stick all the way up his nose where he can get hurt. Yes, of course someone get can get if done the wrong way. But that won't be by me.
I bet the wax isn’t the only thing hardening
She literally does not shut her mouth until 6:35
When your job involves lots of prep time with clients in the room and downtime while you wait for wax to cool, filling the awkward silences is a valuable skill
She's making an instructional video. You kinda need to talk during those to tell people what you're doing and they need to do.
@@suen.278 Heat wax, apply to applicator, twist gently into nostril, wait 30 seconds, hold nostril...yank. That does not require 7 minutes of nonstop chatter.
@@47ravenlord There were small details throughout the whole video she had to mention if you would even listen. It’s an instruction video, not for your pleasure.
