    NOW I UNDERSTAND what the little tube coming from the reduction gearcase at the bottom of my newly acquired KitchenAid H-5 is for!!! It's the oil pump outlet!

    Best wishes always sir, I'm from Indonesia. Can you give me guidance on how to disassemble the Fomac B 15 planetary mixer. Please provide guidance, I really need it. Because I live in the mountains far from the city, and in my place there is no service person who can repair my mixer. Thank you sir, always healthy and always successful to you

      it's an old video but your new comment, your the closest to what looking at the moment, the machine got my problem with "Hobart H401" it long lost manuals and papers, user manual etc,, and my searching the internet bring up nothing, apart service companies (most with alter motive to sale a new machine) making sale pitch of how old it is? is it had sudo, as best it can with out reference what needs a service? but after latest service, the gear selector arm' not moving the way it should, (some may say it not moing at all? on in investigate the iner working of the gear box, there is "u" shaped, metal part lifts the gears etc, it a lot deap ware marks so metal (machining shop fill replace missing metal, and resurfaced meeting faces on the part, look like a new part, but on reassembly the selector arm, not moving like it should,

    Hola amigo, yo tengo una crypto-peerless y la desarme para cambiar el engrane que va en el sin fin del motor, pero ahora no entra la 1, la segunda si entra bien y la 3 gira pero no tiene fuerza y empieza a tronar ( me refiero a no tener fuerza, es que gira pero lo puedo detener con la mano 1 y 3) la segunda trabaja bien, alguna idea de que puede ser, o algún video? 🤔
    Espero y me puedas ayudar amigo. Saludos desde México 🇲🇽

      I believe the preferred oil brand is "Mobilgear 600 XP 460" which has an SAE grade of 140. People put in cheaper stuff with lower viscosity, but that seems to be the proper gear oil. I own a H600 and don't repair them for a living.

    • @yeorgosyeorgos9587
      @yeorgosyeorgos9587 Před 5 lety +1

      the important numbers are the 460 and the SAE grade of 140.

      I am not an expert but in the restaurant, I work in uses mineral oil because it is food safe. That way even if there is a leak it will not cause any major issues down the line.

    Have a hobart 600 mixer.
    When I turn the motor on, It does not run but If I manually rotate agitator, then motor starts running but verrry slowly.
    What might be the problem?

      Electric motor problems is my guess. If you were lucky, a capacitor. Could also have a bad connection at the contactors. Be careful and cautious if doing it yourself. Someone with electrical experience should inspect it.
