  • I was referred to this moving company after we were forced to move out of our production facility with limited notice. I called Kenny and he gave me a great price to move my entire bakery and commercial mixer, considering the other quotes I received. He came with a crew of 6 people and got the job done with a lot of care and consideration. No injury’s or damages to either locations or the equipment. I highly recommend them for any commercial or heavy equipment moving. They are family-owned and black-owned. Call/Text Kenny at (917) 577-0513 and follow them on Instagram @commercial_movers

I’m gonna transport one that weighs 654 lbs 2000 miles in the bed of my truck. I’m using 4 tie downs. Any suggestions on where to attach them to the mixer?

You probably did the job already, but by experience you can just strap it twice (one on top, one at the bottom).
The only important part is to put it sideway from your box wall. Make sure all the weight is the closest to your wall (the motor is on top so it's all in the front of the mixer). If you just strap it from the back facing the wall, it'll keep trying to wiggle from right to left as soon as you brake or accelerate.
The hardest part of moving these is trying to distribute the weight equal. 3 doors commercial freezers are about the same weight to an extra 200lbs and yet they are easier to move imo
