- If you’ve been here for a while now you’ll know I love to knit as much as sew for my vintage inspired wardrobe. I always plan my knitting projects to match my wardrobe and get as much wear out of it all my makes as I can.
In todays chat I’m sharing my recent makes with you and the knits that will go with them. I’m modelling my toiles, recent makes and showing you how to Cartwheel Fabric when you don’t have quite enough width in the cloth to cut out your pattern.

The pockets on the coat are amazing and that first pattern for the graduation dress is what dreams are made of! I would love one of those in every colour!!

Hi Lisa, Christine here from Beausejour Canada. I am a 49 yr old knitter. I am a special needs mom so I can’t carve out any sewing time until summer when they can go outside for a bit. You really inspired me to make some cardigans. Can you show all your cardigans and/or knitwear in an episode please!!!! I would just adore it!!

My favourite look is a pretty floral dress and colourful cardi so you can imagine how much I love your style … especially in those luscious colours. Sadly the colours that suit me best are variations on ‘sludge’. Sludge green and sludge brown are my best. How I would love to look nice in lilac. I shall live my favourite colours through you! Beautiful coat with the heart and bow - trademark Lisa - pockets! Needless to say I look like the undead (but not in a romantic glamorous way) in black 😆💗💐
I’m sure you’re being harder on yourself than is true lovely Samantha, you always look marvellous. I often think it’s finding the right warmth of a colour for each of us. I’m so glad you love my style as yes florals, and cardis are cheery looks indeed. The coat makes me so happy but it’ll have to wait now as too wintery a look now. I have worn it once and felt most marvellous in it I must admit 💐💐❤️❤️❤️
