1969 mustang replacing ball joints and lower control arm.

This is replacing the upper ball joints, lower control arm with ball joint and the sway bar link. I had already replaced the spring perches and done the Shelby / Arning drop. The bolt in the lower control arm seemed frozen in the bushing and I was about to sawzall it off but found another way. Using a ball joint separator helped in removal.

Coming to this video after tearing the front suspension apart on my 68 Cougar made me afraid of the ball joint separator flying off, because mine did that and smacked me in the face hard enough for me to definitely have a scar later. Although I did have the spindle and lower control arm on the floor already, and decided to put my face directly in the line of fire.

Yes, sometimes the pop is pretty loud. I felt better with the separator than the pickle fork. Removing the spring makes me feel more uncomfortable but the tool I used for that makes it pretty easy. I try to wear goggles no matter what I am doing. I was under the car and a low hanging bolt would have taken my eye just from crawling under, had glasses on. Thanks
