Thanks for the update Tom! It's been a very frustrating time, I'd just done my first solo before lockdown happened and the school closed so no doubt I'll have a lot of refreshing to do! I'd really appreciate some videos on what to expect and how to prepare for the exams. So far I've only done Air Law and found the real exam (Online Version) to be a lot different to the information and practice questions in the Pooley's book. At the moment I'm struggling to motivate myself to read the books and do the studying so any tips would be great. Seems there's so much information and it's difficult to really take it all in and remember everything! Anyway hope it's going well for you!

Hopefully more flying! Know it seems like 1st world problems, but can't even do exams at the moment. Passed my Air Law just before the tier 4 change. Was hoping to get human factors in to but that's on hold. Think I'll forget everything by the time I go back only 7 or so flying hours. Currently flying CTLS on MS flight sim and planning cross counties as you would on proper charts and mucking around with E6B but not the same. Learning in a CT2K. That said the break is allowing me to save up a buffer fund for lessons and also a plane. Really want an A22 foxbat.

I share your frustration. But it's a good time to get to learn all of your theory! I wish you well in your exams and training. I think any type of simulator flying is better than none :)

It's not as dark as you'd think haha, it's just different! Doesn't mean either of us don't still enjoy planes and microlights. Once, I get a job I'll definitely look to get back in microlights and I'm keen to try gliding as well :)
