Yes, for pure madness fan reactions to a goal, you'll never beat this!!! I am so glad I experienced it as it happened right in front of me -( although when I saw John coming in, I thought he was gonna sky it). If we'd have had another 10 minutes to go, we'd have beaten them.
Remember watching this in my local. Was one of only a handful of Blues fans in there. We all went mental when John scored. All the Villa fans were suicidal!
in 6 Months he make 7 very Important Goals for Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2003,we miss him he got back to Chelsea,so stupid Chelsea take all these good Players out or leasing them...like De Bruyne,Salah,Cuadrado,in other Clubs they go Big!Andreas Christensen is the next he go back to Chelsea after 2 Years Mönchengladbach this Summer...if they are Intelligent they let him play...but Chelsea is stupid!
@Jay Bevoman yeah, it was a crazy game because Villa were all over us, missed a hatful of easy chances, then (I think) they lost one of their defensive players to injury, and Dion Dublin ended up in the middle of defence. It was at that point the tide turned and we ran all over them, especially after Forssell scored the first goal.
@Jay Bevoman yes, he was clinical in front of goal. He didn't miss many chances from what I remember. It was just a shame (typical Blues) that after he signed for us permanently that he spent most of his later years with us injured.
i think on that day i had the feelings that i will never get when watching England in a world cup it was like we won the league that day and the day after at work lol
yeah, I sit lower trinity near the north stand...had to watch them all going mad in front of me. I think I'd remember it lol, it was torture :( But yeah true...those two from Gabby plus the 5-1 more than make up for it!
@lizavfc Right in front of you? It was scored in the end with the sha fans! Oh well, we'll give Blues this last minute goal to gain them a point. We've scored last minute winners in the last 2 games at Sty Andrews, can't beat it. Saint Gabby!
@nde575 In one of the Villa programmes a few years back (might have been again Blackburn) they asked him his ideal side.. included the likes of Pele, Maradona, Banks.. AND HIMSELF! He's fucking dreaming, he was shite! Hitzlsperger.. what a legend.
Hard to disagree. Give credit where credit is due, Villa have been superb. But success is largely down to whoever you've got owning the club. If Lerner had been there, or the Dr Xia was it? You'd have been not far behind us. Your current owners are taking you to Europe, our current owners are taking us into the abyss.
@@JohnGolf123 I can’t disagree mate to be honest. Speaking truthfully I’d would love blues to be in the premiership as I think Derby’s are such an important part of a season and a game to really look forward too so fingers crossed they get out of this mess
@@james-tm2jq I agree mate. I love the derbies, but I wouldn't want to go up against you guys at present. I remember (showing my age at 41) in 1988/89 we played against you in the Simod and League Cup and Villa beat us 5-0, then a few weeks later 6-0. A meeting between us now would see a similar rout I think. You'll have ups and downs, but you need to stick with Dean Smith. He knows what he's doing and has a plan. Fair play to you all.
@@james-tm2jq just to add, I've got loads of Villa mates who say the same as you. But Blues are being run into the ground. We are just a financial commodity/leverage to be used to the owners advantage. They will never sell us until we are of no use to them anymore, but when that day comes, the club will be too far down the road to recover. Honestly speaking, a lot of Blues wouldn't say it, but I will - we're finished. We will be relegated this season.
Christ I remember this, I was only 11 and John's equaliser was right in front of me, I almost cried xD
How times have changed.
I miss Hitzlsperger!
if only the camera stayed on the blues fans wen there second goal went in. absoulte madness.
I was in there. Pandemonium.
wolves fan here but I always rooted for blues in these games!! LOL this was fckin great!
Of course you did, you're obsessed with Villa
of course you rooted for them, everyone hates villa from the midlands… I wonder if it’s cus we’re the biggest & best club? just a thought
@@TheCurtisdaviesyou’ve just answered that question yourself..
Not a Blues fan (WBA) ,watched that game in the Hen and Chicks on lower Dart, fantastic.

Would love it if there was the ITV highlights of this game from that day
i've watched the last 20 seconds of this vid about 50 times in a row
One of the greatest days ever in the away end

What a game! This is why Birmingham Vs Villa is the best Derby in England! KRO!!!!
haha I doubt that steward behind the goal at 2:32 ever worked at Villa park again! Brilliant!
Just noticed that . Haha
Blues always took their own stewards to these games.
More of this today please lads! KRO SOTV
Stern john skied his shot lol nearly missed! Legend. Blues dominated villa in derbies first 3 seasons back in Prem
С этого матча все началось))) так я стал болельщиком Львов!
What made it better, vile should have won that game by a canter, i think Angel missed a open goal to make it 3-0, this was a sweet sweet game
My vile fan gaffer still says this was worse feeling.......more so than being beaten!
Them stern john scenes 😍
The TV doesn't do it justice. I was in there, it was pandemonium.

Hitzlsperger was class at Chesterfield on loan
I know!
Birmingham should have won this game.
I am disgusted in what I am saying as a bluenose, but Hitzlesperger's shot was unbelieveable. He'll be doin that in the championship next year!
Gotta love it.
What a goal that was from Der Hammer.
@eadie6679 yes, I was sitting lower Trinity by the tunnel, and the Blues end was the North stand. ie right in front of me, like I said ;)
