I can honestly say these couple of days in bruges were some of the best ive ever had and i will remember this experience forever, i was lucky enough to travel on the plane with the players to and from bruges and can safely say that every one of our players were blown away by the support and said that without our support the result wouldnt have been the same, thank you to all the bluenoses who made the trip out there, whether you had tickets or not, made me and alot of people proud to be brummie!
As a Birmingham fan, going onto the Birmingham facebook groups after the game and seeing Brugge fans on there asking how Ibanez was, praising our support...it was a lovely thing to see! Probably one of the best sets of fans of a team we've ever played against! KRO!
The best away day of my life! Total total respect to the people of Brugges! What a lovely place it is too! See you all at St Andrews in a couple of weeks! Keep Right On!

I was there...a Brummie living in Belgium. My seat was in the middle of the Bruges supporters so I had to keep my head down or risk getting a bashing! LOL! So proud of the Blues,fantastic supporters & & fantastic display by the team!

This is the kind of support I like to see, and is sad you dont see this kind if thing in the Premier League. There are clubs that cant even get any where near their capacity i.e Bolton, Wigan.
birmingham deserces to play in Europe EVERY season. at least we dont take it for granted like some other clubs. big respect to Brugges. they will be VERY welcome in Birmingham

Because normally the away fans get the block in the left corner(1500 places) but Birmingham got the whole upper stand. And apparently they've got some extra places on the lower stand as well.
@LeniMUFC thats becouse normaly only the stand on the left behind the goal is for the visitors 900 places; all the outher places are for the homefans, so this was a exepcion for this match.
@LeniMUFC It basically got pretty full at the top, especially in the gangways so they opened a section of the bottom tier to ease the congestion. It wasn't dangerous or anything but it was a sensible thing to do. Not helped by loads arriving late. Was an hour walk from the town which many (including me!) had underestimated. Buses were laid on but they were 3 hours before kick off and who wants to be in the ground then?
