What a team Birmingham were back then. Now they're relegated to League One and are miles off Aston Villa
Blues smashed them again the vile just wilted😂
Morrison was shite ,token gesture on 5 live what a wanker clinton u c u nt
Robbie savage wound up Dion Dublin
Should never been a late KO both matches in that season as they were MNF matches.
Scum animals things have drastically changed now. Villa have always been superior to any Midlands team especially the pound shop boys from small heath 🙄😐up the kings of the midlands shame they sacked Rooney he was doing a great job. Utv
Would love it if there was the ITV highlights of this game from that day
A truly talentless bunch of nobodies. Can't think of one single player there who is any good.
I hate villa 😂 even their colours are 😂 are they Burnley in disguise 🥸 or whu vile 😮villa 🤮🤢
Absolute scenes behind that goal one of my favourites
Enklemans a bluenose ❤️
Villa are s..t keep right on 👊
Enjkemann’s a Bluenose. Haha
Great game. Great result 👏 😅😅😅 Keep right on
These days are coming back kro
LMAO
Birmingham should have won this game.
Them stern john scenes 😍
The TV doesn't do it justice. I was in there, it was pandemonium.
@@JohnGolf123 I would of loved to be there... The atmosphere looked and sounded amazing
@Jay Bevoman yeah, it was a crazy game because Villa were all over us, missed a hatful of easy chances, then (I think) they lost one of their defensive players to injury, and Dion Dublin ended up in the middle of defence. It was at that point the tide turned and we ran all over them, especially after Forssell scored the first goal.
@@JohnGolf123 Forssell was a beast, loved watching him play... Credit where due to villa that 2nd goal was a screamer
@Jay Bevoman yes, he was clinical in front of goal. He didn't miss many chances from what I remember. It was just a shame (typical Blues) that after he signed for us permanently that he spent most of his later years with us injured.
hopefully we play the villa again soon, missed this atmosphere
I agree, but the way they are now, I'd rather stay away from them for a while. KRO.
I was ther wow we need thes days back...KRO...
Hitzlsperger was class at Chesterfield on loan
Der Hammer! No one hit them as hard or as well as he did!
Even as a Blues fan, that was a hell of a goal.
Peter Enckleman. Voted runner-up in Birmingham City's Player Of The Season 2002/03
Birmingham were in the Premiership? When?
They were in PL in 2002/03 2003/04, 2004-05, 2005/06. Then again in 2007/08, 2009/10, and finally 2010/11. They haven't been back since.
@@JohnGolf123 There were? Don't remember.
thats why the stadium is broken what a night!
Mind that gap lads up the villa
Everyone knows what a bunch o wankers they are
Another rout at the shit hole wa kits fans in the world
Viler wankers ,
Watching these games from afar and being a neutral this Derby means very little, however having lived around Brum for many years now, you just have to be one or the other. I've never had any issues with Blues fans who seem to be much the more down to earth and friendly. Most, but not all Villa fans have illusions of grandeur and actually think they are a competitor to teams like Chelsea, Arsenal and United. Along with LFC and The Scum from Bellend Road they are THE most deluded fans in England. KRO 👍
I caught the Captains arm band off Lian Dash at the end of the game Fantastic night ⚽⚽
Not a Blues fan (WBA) ,watched that game in the Hen and Chicks on lower Dart, fantastic. SOTV
Wasn’t much of a butt tbh
Damien Johnson was Soo underated man
50 grand well spent
Never have I come out of a game with my voice so badly cracked as that, amazing scenes at the end . 😄
Terrific save by Maik Taylor, and no one has mentioned it!
You're right - it was a top save. We had heart, strength, but more importantly, we had momentum against that lot back in those days, unlike the bottlers we've seen in recent derbies against them. They struggled to have a shot on goal against us, let alone score, and suffered horrendous goalkeeping errors in 4 out of those first 6 games. Taylors save was another indicator that we were top dogs in every department.
@@JohnGolf123yeah not anymore pal lol, if we played you now would be about 6-0 🤣
@@TheCurtisdavies I wouldn't disagree!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Wolves fan. I never got why Blues fans despised Villa so much (besides geography) but since working with a bunch of them this last five years I can understand.
Well, Wolves and Albion are not exactly best mates.
All in our shadow that's why
@@JF-sb5mo Never have been, never will be.
@@whatayear yeah keep telling yourself that we all know the truth
@@JF-sb5mo Why exactly are we in your shadow? We go where we want, do what we want, it's a predominantly Blues town, when we play we hardly see you, cos a lot of your fans are commuter. So come on do pray tell?
Absolutely dwarfed villa when we went up ..
Fuckin brilliant game , the Zulus were superb that night , Great old Club that deserve more success, unfortunately we lost , but fantastic atmosphere .... ITID 🔵⚪️👍
Always great winning at bell end park.this one especially kro
Happy Days Now we are stuck with the new Karanka-(Bowyer) he can't motivate the players for a winning league run, poor cup performances etc- Just eph off please Lee(and take sun football correspondent' deeney with you). KRO 👍
I’m a blues fan and sat in the holte end with 3 other blues fans as the vile couldn’t sell their tickets. I was only 16 and celebrated both goals. Great memories
As if blues fans were shitting it that night in and around the stadium - nevermind dont let the truth get in the way of bullshit
I doubt it pal as holte end was always season ticket holders . Think you dreaming
Doubt all you want. It happened and I wasn’t the only group of blues supporters in that stand. We all stood up and celebrated not once but twice. I guess you watched it on tv 🤣
@@19856chris yes I did . Lol getting angry are we . Well unless you got a ticket from a season ticket holder then it must be another stand
liar
Ufufufhfy
Savage a shining example to all young footballers how to take everything out of the game and put little back
He was great for Blues.
@@robbiefellows2200because he’s got long hair, cause he’s everywhere.
Dirty donkey Dublin still shite at his job
Where’s the second villa red card?
Yeah and then in the final the ref lost us the game,
Still can't fathom what Savage said to him there; was it "fcking prick"?
I always thought it was something like 'f*cking wanker" as the referee got into the middle of them. I was there that night, and if both teams had stayed at 11v11, it would have probably ended 0-0 as there was nothing between them These sort of moments often turn games, and it certainly did. It was anarchy, on the pitch, in the stands, and outside. I can honestly say that I've never been to a game before, or since, which had so much poison and vitriol as this one.
Well done Dublin Should have broken Savages face
Enckleman was useless and nearly twenty years later Bruce is still trying to play the same style of football. Was worth the loss to see savage get dropped, UTFV SOTC
Savage: deep down you're a blue nose dion.... Bang! Dublin: cop that ya sheep sha**ger....
