Seeing Eddie write “PRO CHOICE” on his arm, on the biggest music show on tv at the time, when he could’ve written literally anything else, changed my life as a female. I have children that are nearly grown now, but I have never stopped fighting for women’s right to control their own bodies. Such a fucking honor to be coming of age at the same moment this flash of brilliance reached its apex. We are a small and distinct group. And you only really know if you were there to feel it as it was happening. I crowd surfed off my grandmother's coffee table into a sea of nothingness the first time this aired on MTV.

Back in the days when music ment something. When bands put in months and even years to make a record..written by themselves, after years searching their common DNA and mastering their instruments in a garage or outskirt studio somewhere…
    I miss those days.
And in those days MTV played music as the abbreviation said and still do.
I will never forget when my best friend bought Ten in our local record store in northern Sweden, put it on his hitachi… the rest is history
