Awesome stuff there from Leon! Heâs a top guy! Wishing you all well man! Some awesome gifts there bro. Well deserved
I'm blown away - I'm British and I'm fully aware what it means for a royal marine to give something like this. You have honour worthy of respect - the best of humanity at the worst of times.
*honour.
@@TheCornishCockney I assume you are pulling a typo(Please forgive me if I'm wrong)...I don't think you're a "cockney" though you may be "Red".... Google US English and UK English
This is what the US UK special relationship is really all about. It doesn't matter what the President thinks of the Prime Minister, it's things like this. Brothers separated by an ocean.
Its almost like politicians like to divide people!
So true bro I love the us haha
Yes!
@@tdb922f Yes, and the politicians do it so well lol.
Absolutely Andrew Michael
Someone get this guy a week with the British Army!
Or send him an SA80.
@@maxpowerii7368 lol imagine but not many of those in the states.
@@kh7736 thereâs a few knocking about I believe. Not mega common but they do exist in the US.
@@maxpowerii7368 the A1 we don't want him to be too comfotable
@@jamesg3456 so we're pranking him?
Did a gift swap with a French tankie back in 2012 (both of us mature students ex army) at uni, he was over as part of his course from France. Come Xmas I bought him a white flag and a bottle of English wine, he gave me a bottle of sunscreen and massive book containing the historically combined knowledge of English love making.... it had 1 line and 600 blank pages đ€Šââïžđ€·ââïžđđ€Ł.
Brilliant đ«đ·
Now thatâs some quality banter I can get behind đ
đ đ đ That's bloody brilliant!
đ oof đ
Given the British invented the Marines, Iâd say that itâs a good guess that pride in being a Marine comes from there. But every unit or regiment has pride in itself and thinks theyâre better than the rest, from my experience of military personnel
You would make a great liaison between the US and UK marines (even though youâre now in the army). Glad you appreciate the UK merch AND that you have a kettle and proper English tea. Great upload. Thanks for making my day.
the bond between the servicemen and women of the United States and United Kingdom is like no other.
True, tho there are more close ties between the US/British forces, like the Dutch, Danish, Swedes, Aussies, Kiwis and Canucks and I've been told even the South Koreans.
Dude is that Plank in the background? Haha you actual legend
đ i did not expect to see some Ed, Edd n Eddy merch.
haha i made him myself
Legend đđ
@@CombatArmsChannel it is amazing I loved ed edd and eddy
Hey dude could you please react to a special weapon known as KALI of the Indian armed forces I saw the vedio of FalconHawk Media Group it looks really sick .
hi been subscribed and watching your channel for quite a while now,you come across to me (sheffield england civilian)as a genuine bloke respect for your genuine intelligent knowledgeable uploads and respect for the UK armed forces!!,they serve us each and every day exceptionally!! and i would have no other trained personnel to defend me/us/our nation đ
thanks for the reply
My Cousin was a Royal Marine and is as hard as nails, I went drinking with them and could not keep up but they got me home safe. I live about 3 miles from Lympstone (Training base for Marines) would be so good if a serving marine could get you over here (post covid) to go on the Tarzan assault course, would make for an epic video.
To me pal you seem very appreciated by you followers and couldn't agree more you put on a good show and unbiased opinion. I enjoy your videos very much well done mate and thank you.
Iâm a leatherworker, the leather on your knife just needs some conditioner. Smithâs Leather Balm is one of the best as there are no nasty chemicals. Apply it sparingly. Smithâs is also very good for boots and shoes.
Hiya at 4:33 that's the Royal Marine Flag, the colours are also used on the Royal Marine Belt. PS: did you know the first amputee to row solo across the Atlantic was a former Royal Marine.
Mate your really a credit to the marines and the US Army I have to say back when you got that green beret I didn't think to good of Americans even though I have a lot of family in America I even have an uncle that was a navy seal! He doesn't talk about it at all, your views your respect and opinions alone have completely changed my opinions on Americans so much so that I now could probably name 100 US military off the top of of my head that I know, follow and completely respect.... but it all started with combat arms lol so thank you for being you!!!
The mutual respect you share with đŹđ§ is fantastic. You certainly have the humility that RM strive for
Per Mare, Per Terram.
Around Christmas 1917, British and US troops exchanged small gifts - usually novelty items from rations (US troops seemingly enjoying 'plum duff' and British troops blown away by pork and beans) or hand-carved items and 'trench art'. It's good to see that the other special relationship between the soldiers of our countries is kept alive and well over 100 years later.
This is an awesome gesture man. I'm joining the Royal Navy this year and my hope is to do an All Arms Commando Course after to work in Commando Helicopter Force and hopefully Mobile Air Operations Team (MAOT). The thought of that green lid is immensely inspiring to me
You're going to be a WAFU? Best job mate!
@@markhaughton9563 I am mate!
If you recieve a parcel from our Russian friends especially perfume .....bury it deep ....trust me on this one .
You should put that beret in a clear box. Thatâs so cool he gave you that. Iâm sure he was attached to it so thatâs something really cool
The fact you've been gifted the green beret with the cap badge on it is amazing! My cousin was a royal marine so I know how much that means to have one! Great stuff man!
Love the respect both our country's show each other. From enemies, to best friends and brothers in arms. Keep safe mate.
Wow that's a really nice present you got there man. It's always pleasant to see the mutual respect there between UK and US service personnel.
Has somebody offered him to do RM training yet!? Get him a transfer, he would enjoy every second! đ
It's so cool of you to share this experience. I can't imagine there's many channels or instances out there where a civvy like me can see such a meaningful moment. I appreciate you sharing.
I love that you have Plank from Ed Edd & Eddy, and Baby Yoda, You are inspirational because you are humble, nerdy, badass, and most of all relatable. It's a bit too late for me to join the military, but I'm sure you are inspiring others to join.
That's some awesome stuff. Great seeing the respect between U.S. and Royal Marines. Great vid.
I agree with many others here. Get your Boss to recommend you for a 6-month exchange with the Royal Marines. You are a great example of how Americans are not all the brash boastful 'USA! USA! USA!' type that creates a bad name abroad. We would be honoured for you to come and train with our boys!
We should start a campaign. He exhibits the best traits of both militaries, and I seriously think heâd get a kick out of buying UK merch.
From liaisons I've had with the Yanks, I had no run-ins with their brashness...Good 'oppos' all!
Love the mutual respect. The special relationship is strong.
I think it would be great if this guy could come to the uk and train or stay with the Royal marines you can see how much he loves the UK special forces much respect to this guy like watching his channel
You look at things with a very open mind and you are always very positive. I think if you were this side of the Atlantic youâd be a Royal Marines Commando. Great content and no bias, keep the videos coming. Great guy.
WOW That is respect right there with a Royal Marine handing you a beret he actually wore in service. But as an Army guy I would be very very very dubious indeed about opening a random package from a Booty that landed on my doormat and streaming it lmao.
It would probably be a ballgown and some crayons.
In the late 80s/early 90s, I went to a military boarding school (in England), 'Gordon's School', our school motto is Semper Fidelis!
That was a really nice gift he sent! So glad you have such good friends to make life more enjoyable!
To be given something like that from him is awesome considering what it takes to earn one. Wow. Respect. đđŒ
You have no choice now but to travel to the UK and do the All Arms Course.
When Leon asked me to send this I had no idea it was this! Glad you liked the gifts đ
As a Royal Marines girlfriend let me tell you, someone giving you their beret is up there with giving you a kidney! In fact, Iâd say it surpasses that!! Mad.
RM commandos are nails. 32 weeks of training. Chris Tyrrell did an awesome series on the training. Great gifts from this side of the pond. Keep up the awesome content đ
4:35 Those are the colours of the Royal Marines' belt (and flag)
Blue for the maritime connection, yellow for the original uniform colour, green for the light infantry and red for the uniform colour in 1876
I think its pretty funny that green Beret is something so special for the most ppl because here every infantry grunt has a green Beret
Always good watching you opening gifts dude I admire the brotherhoodđ€
I've never served in the military personally but I've got a few friends that are now no longer serving marines and trust me my friend, from what I know you are very honoured to get that beret, other than their family, their green beret is their most prized possession,to the point they won't even let me (and quite rightly) try it on because I haven't earned it,I could look and hold only. Anyway peace and respect from the UK as always my man.
Like someone else said, youâd be a great liaison between different militaries. Love the content by the way, long time fan!
A military attache even? he'd be excellent - but he has a long standing feud with helmets - he can't simply walk away while they continue to threaten innocent forest paths.
defo agree with you, awsome guy
All the way through watching your reaction I am sure I had a big goofy smile on my face and a lump in my throat
Great clip, you are so taken with those items !!. Hi from England !.
I like this guy , heâs a good chap
Some cracking good stuff there. đ
Your a gushy fanboy and a badassđ
Love the way you smile when the guns start firing in vids đŽó §ó ąó łó Łó Žó ż
Ayyy feels good being here within the first few minutes of being uploaded ahah. Keep up the great work!
Use some duck fat on that leather before it dries out too much.
Btw the contents of that package is badass!
A joy to watch. Keep up the good work đ
Subscribed to another marine channel now :)
I love it when people open parcels with huge combat knives, so inefficient. đ I guess it looks cooler than a more practical box cutter though. đ€·ââïž
Wow those gifts are so awesome!
Absolutely awesone!!!! Respect!!!
Hi buddy, loved your reaction to receiving those special gifts from a serving U.K. forces marine! My late father (who served his country in the Grenadier Guards second battalion and did 4 tours of Northern Ireland back in the 70s during the height of hostilities) once paid a trip to the factory where the Royal Marines Commando dagger is produced and was fortunate enough to be able to purchase one, which I now own. I would like to gift it to you but I am not sure if I would be allowed due to international shipping laws on restricted items? Do you think there is any way I could get this wicked blade over to you, where you are stationed? Kind regards, Alan.
looks like you made some very good friends in the UK
I think my Fav would be the frame. That thing is so sick and on fiređ„đ„
That's a special gift right there. You've been honored
Very nice indeed. Beautiful thing also. Cant imagine many people get those.
Really happy for you đ
Always a good idea to be careful opening something you didn't expect đŹđ§âïž
Awesome gifts, heres an idea you need one of those polystyrene heads to display the beret on to keep its shape
Love your videos đđ
(and call the dagger by its name, the Fairburn-Sykes fighting knife/dagger)!
You can even buy them from the armourer Paul MacDonald, who makes them to order for (mostly) serving soldiers.
There's at least a year on the waiting list!
I think it's about time you put in a request to attend Lympstone and see how you do on bottom field.
Thatâs hoofing đ€đ»
well deserved. very nice that you show respect to the uk forces also
I was going to say one of the most respectful and genuine youtubers... but then realised that word is not respectful enough in the scheme of youtube... Iâll just say sgenuine respect, of course from a Marine, thx fella
Is that Plank in the background from Ed edd and eddy? Awesome cartoon you must be around my age
haha yessir
The different colours in the cap badge is to do with dulling down so it's not shiny for obvious reasons and the shiny one is for parades. :)
Till the day I die I'll regret never having taken the shot to become a Marine.
I probably would've failed MISERABLY -_- ... but still, I should've tried.
Shoot out to Leon tho! Nice lad, awesome channel and how cool of him to send you his 2nd ever beret!
Whats up bra ... pullin out the guns hey! GUN SHOW LOL Love your vids homie
Love ur videos bro
You can probably rejuivnate that leather somewhat by feeding it with saddle oil or mink oil.
Well deserved from British submarine veteran
Wow that was some awesome gift
Love the respect â
Bro your a lucky fella đđ»đđ»
Is the background music from pikmin??? If so that's pretty dam awesome, pikmin is a great game đđ
Seeing the green lid and then going to read the message first is like when you get a birthday card see the money but ignore it and read the message to be polite đ
Thats an awesome present!
Thats somthing very special
You should get an invite to visit the SAS or SBS for a day. You are a credit to the US marines and Army
đ€you need a nice spot to display them brotherđ€
Love your video s â€
Amazing gifts there. Hope you get to meet with your UK brothers sometime, I for one would love to buy you a pint and chat shit in the pub.
Theyâre some cool gifts tbf.
Should react to commando on the front line mate really good series
@combat arms channel my uncle garry an Irish dude served as a u.s reserve marine semper fi marine
OMG Iâve missed a lot of your videos recentlyđ

Dude display it on ya head.... Think you'd make a real excellent Royal Marine Commando.... Especially with them "Hench" Armsđ..... On another note... Just shows what a good bunch our lot are and I'm really proud of our lads n lassesđŽó §ó ąó „ó źó §ó żđâ
You only wear a green beret if you've earned the privilege.
@@batteredwarrior the fact its the second one sent to him a marine from a royal marine makes him privileged
@@lordbelvoir2543 you are clueless... And yeah, he was a US Marine, but he sure as heck isn't a Commando.
@@batteredwarrior didn't say he was.... He still gets my respect even if you don't.... If you're a commando... I bow my head to you
Awesome gift
You're getting packages from everyone recently. Now from Bootneck Gamer đ

The "end" of exercise fight is awesome the Norwegian guy butstroking the DS is nuts....
