I did the Koyorad downflow radiator in my 2003 and high power/volume fans plus the Flyin Miata reroute and I am very happy with all of it. My temps in Texas summer when I first bought the car in 2020 would hover around 203 even on the highway at 70 mph with the OEM setup. Last summer I was able to keep the engine at low to mid 190's and even drop to 180's with the sun behind the car instead of on the drivers side as I do part of my travel going north before turning east. I travel 1 hour and 15 minutes each way to work on average. The order I did mine was radiator then reroute kit and finally the high power fans. I will see this summer if that keeps me happy with the engine temps. My only concern is slow traffic on very hot days. If I run into that my final step will me to put vents in my hood to help relieve the extra heat.
Good to see you on my recommended again
Yes!
definitely wanna see more cooling videos!
👀
Nice swap! I haven't heard much about the Cobalt radiator, but it looks solid.
Yeah! As unbiased as possible, I really dig it so far! Fit and finish is solid. Excited to put some spirited driving on it.
Alex, I need to fly you to Denver to help me with all of that. LOL I also need to know how to find the stereo code of my 1990 Miata . Unfortunately, my dad bought it without a manual. What?
Nice work.
Thanks!
I would like to see some more cooling video's.
Bet!

Hawt intro
Edit: You don't need the undertray :)
🙃 haha
was that the original radiator on that old buggy (No offense)
seems like I saw 223___ miles on the odometer
thank you , Alex
No definitely not the original. It was at least 6 years old though.
Let’s go posted 42 seconds agoooo
You're on it! Noti gang?
Why is it smoking at the last part even tho the rad cap was on?
Residual coolant burning off that spilled when filling/burping air.
How did I look under the hood of this thing this weekend and not notice it.
Because I did it after you left. 👍🏼
@@AlexPerrucci oh lol
Any noticeable temp drop over stock?
Not that I can confirm. I just have the stock water temp gauge currently.
Wen you swapped radiators did it take a lot longer to get it up to temp? Or did you swap your termostat
Stock thermostat still. Haven’t really noticed it taking longer to warm up.
@@AlexPerrucci thanks for the response. Im upgrading my radiator on my NB next week might need to return my 180 thermostat and order the same 195 that came stock.
What kind of coolant did you use?
Good ol' O'reilly's full strength and some distilled water.
Is the radiator 2 row or 3 row?
Pretty sure it's 2 but it's definitely a thicker core than stock.
