I ended up just removing the spring from the throttle and using the gas damper only. It gave the throttle a smoother, less hard feeling (for me). It's a subjective though, and if you use something a little different you get use to it.
Interesting idea. I removed the gas damper to get a lighter throttle and kept the spring. It's nice now but I might swap it over to see how that setup feels.
@@Niodium it's all about the leverage spot you hook it to on the pedal side, (I have mine a little lower) you don't have a pre load adjustment with the gas spring, but it feels pretty good with slight damping.
I would suggest keeping both the spring and the damper. But extend the spring out sontheres not one bit of preload on it. And put the front screw of the damper down to the bottom. Its so easy, you can control it with your toe, but still has that kickback from the damper đ
i think throttle travel is a bit short when i adjust stop rod to the maximum.
Which elastomers and springs did you use?
What rig can i mount these pedals to without baseplate? My budgit for a cockpit is around 200-300 euro
I just got these pedals. Trying to find the combination of elastomers and springs that work good for me. Can you tell us how you go about changing them? I made the mistake taking it apart from the pedal end of the brake and it was very difficult to put back together. It was hard to hold the washers and bushings in place while too stiff to compress by hand. The only way I was finally able to do it was to leave out the bushing between the spring and the elastomer. The extra springs it comes with don't sit flat in that bushing since the center hole is much smaller.
You just need to unscrew the bar, that's above the square plate at the end. Then you can pull the plate and rod up, and out together.
Some heel toeing wouldve been more usefull. I'd like to know how noisy the clutch is for example and if there is any side to side play
Here's my full review czcams.com/video/ZPUvVQ_qq0g/video.html
Hi, can you share the link of the stl file you used for the spring end on the brake. Thanks
I haven't saved it. But I do show you how I made it in this video. czcams.com/video/fHXtSYFEhII/video.htmlsi=mLrGmXtMCSO5o4Ow&t=179
Nice video! Do tou think they will work fine with my moza R5? Cheers from Mexico!
Yes, perfectly fine.
@@SimRacingCorner thanks mate! Will wait for your review as well, have a nice day!
Yes have mine installed for 3 days, still adjusting the brake. These pedals are great.
Do you feel as if the gas shock does anything beneficial? Have you tried them without it?
They add to the sensation, so they are nice to have.
These look great. I want to upgrade to something from the fanatec cs v3. Are these a worthy upgrade or am i better off saving a bit more for higher end?
What wheelbase are you using?
@@SimRacingCorner fanatec csl dd 8nm
Then no, my CSL DD (other wheelbase brands are fine, I've tested this) is having EMI issues with the Simsonn controller board. Kind of complicated to explain here, but I'm covering this in the review that I'm working on currently.
@@SimRacingCorner The fanatec base will not interfere with the pedal as long as you add a reliable ground, the pedal is a pressure sensor and does not have a source of EMI interference, the interference comes from the base, add the correct ground to the base and the pedal works fine.
Grounding did not help. I've gone to a lot of effort in the review to investigate this, wait for that.
you removed the greem bushing or this a new set? and is simsonn still better than simjack as previous you mentioned?
This is a newer set of Simsonn pedals, that I cover in this video. czcams.com/video/IysDIRMtsuM/video.html
I would say these are better than my SimJack pedals.
@@SimRacingCorner 1 like for your video. thanks
How are these compare to the simjack pro pedals?
They are the same product, buy the cheaper you can find and if one is a little more expensive but come with extra elastomer, buy those.
Just to avoid confusion. They are similar but not the same product. I have both brands.
Why do they not ship to the UK?? I have been trying to acquire some of these pedals but no UK shipping on AliExpress
They do ship to the UK, other people have bought them. I can't answer why you're having that problem though.
Make sure the correct country is selected, I had an issue where it kept losing my country. Once I tried a few times it worked
Are those 10mm elastomers or 8mm like simjacks?
8mm
