TIP: Careful when pulling off the wiper blade mount - you need to pull it straight off other wise you will break that piece or possibly the window itself.
Here I replace the rear wiper motor on my 2015 Honda Odyssey van. The motor would stick and make a horrible noise when activated. Unlike other methods, I was able to do this replacement in under one hour by not removing the large interior panels on the inside of the rear lift gate. Basic tools are all you need. TIP: Be delicate when removing the single electrical harness connector that goes in to the existing motor - You will need to use a small tool to press the internal clip properly so you can unplug the connector. Do NOT use a pliers etc and try to forcefully pull. If it does not release then you aren't properly do it.

Thank you for posting this! It really helped!
I was able to replace the rear motor on my 2013 Odyssey today. I had to use a puller, Lisle 54150 which was on sale at my local Carquest for $29 CAD, to get the rear arm off.
I also recommend getting the Honda factory motor as it comes with new mounting bolts (and I got a new "special nut" that goes underneath the arm and holds the motor to the window) and it was significantly cheaper than an aftermarket motor at $110 CAD from the dealer!!!
    Thanks again 😊

That had to be your dad. The other comment is a know-it-all. Everyone is full of advice, but can't be bothered to make their own video. Thanks. Yours was great.

Thanks for the video, I did this job today and found it helpful. Some further tips…
a wiper arm puller is very cheap and assists with pulling the arm off without breaking. I also recommend just removing all the panels (how to here… m.czcams.com/video/9nY1aMVgshs/video.html ). it literally takes less then a minute to take all the panels off and another minute to put them back on. It will save time from fighting around the panels to remove everything. The nut noted as a 15/16ths is actually a 23mm. Full job only took about 20 min. Trying to disconnect the electrical harness was the only issue, why can we not just standardize a single clip type that always works? I ended up breaking the clip on the dead motor to disconnect it.

Awesome video, had that thing replaced under an hour! For anyone else doing this, the second exterior nut size is actually a 23mm (like @alevans6329 pointed out).
