As much as Sam anoyes me cause I feel seconhand embaresment for alot of the things he does, I do indeed admire his inhuman creativity. He can come up with a song to fit a moment on the spot, or a funny pun be to be snarky to the enemy, or cheer up a friend. I wish I could have even half of his creativity.

Sure, he was an ass, but they weren't better in many cases too
And it was said that after they heard such a melody, all of Vox Machina began to write their own fight songs out of respect for this glorious song that they thought greater than any sung by their bard.
I admit, I HATED Taryon at first. But dammit it grew on me. And then Sam made me feel bad for disliking Taryon with his background afterwards. Then I was sad Taryon had to go. Sam knows how to tug at the heartstrings.
It is certainly the longest. He's done some short original ditties that last maybe a few seconds at most. But I don't think there's been an original song this long before.
he said later in the ep it was based off of the fight song of something that apparently travis definately didn't like =3, so prob an opposing sports/college team of some sort
I don't know the full context of what he was doing before coming up with that song but I'm pretty confident I could match him when it comes to Bard improv.
Sam has so much fun with the bard class due to the fact that he has that down to a freaking science.
