Nothing better than mud running at night and these lights look amazing. Great for those of us who can’t stop taking pics and videos of our rigs.

I never bought the first light kit as it was very disappointing... this is the real deal, good stuff!
You guys need to make a light kit for every Rc unit as a person is out at dusk or even night and it’s disappointing when your not able to see your unit and yes there’s other ways to put lights on your Rc’s but it’s usually not as clean nor does everything fit where it’s supposed too, but please consider making light kits for all models from 1/10 and up. Thanks and Keep up the Great Work !! 👊👍
@Stack I was literally thinking the same thing. This video is old, however I 100% agree. I am and always will be Nitro. I have bought Amazon lights. They work great. But nowhere near as great as this setup, customization, or neatness. And requires some knowledge to setup correctly and without proper tools, it can look rough. It CAN be done, but why should I have to? Traxxas should get back into other models besides the focus of their "hobby" R/C's.
you realize just because this says for trx-4 it doesn't mean you can't install it on other trucks

I just bought this system for my 72 blazer body and the rear turn signals and brake lights do not come on, it is just constant red. Any ideas?
I picked up one for my 79 bronco but no working rear signal leds
I have the TRX4 Defender and I can't get my turn signals to work but in your ad it says it works. Does it or doesn't it? The hazard lights work fine though...
Can you turn on and off hazard signal with the app?
Its so impractical to always remove the body before I can turn it on and off by using the buttons on the module.

i don't get the brake lights to work. i mean they light up, but don't change brightness when applying brake. they stay the same. i think everything else works as intended...
maybe it's just a setting i missed? do driving modes on the XL5HV matter?
any help would be much appreciated

complete ProScale Advanced Lighting Control System for trx4 sport (8085X) plus RockLights (8026X). chassis is from a bronco, with TQi remote/receiver + Link module, 2speed, difflocks and inner fenders (swapped my bronco body for a friends sport)

Now, just to jet the installation kits in stock! Next add a pigtail for trailers lights and a seperate universal trailer light kit. After all you have to get your buggy or boat transported somehow!

What if I a ready have the lights system on my trx 4 bronco it will be comparable whit this new sistem??
It would be super helpful if you made a video about how to use the Link app to control and customize the lights operation for this kit. It looks to me with my install that you can only have 4 toggle items on the screen and I can't see an option to turn them on and off. I also asked via the chat function on the website about how to power a led bumper light bar with high / low function and was only sent the PDF instructions for the Pro Light kit that tells you to use the support options on the site that don't have any information about doing this....please help Also, no where in the video does it mention the 1-12 slots on the vehicle mounted block. It references to the AUX ports but not the other 1-12 strip. What are those for?

My turn signal dose not work, the hazard ones work but when I turn my wheels it doesn’t not blink like it should , what could be the problem?
Never mind you have to double click the signal button twice and it will flash and now when I turn they flash 😅

Most likely would be if you used a receiver adapter. It should work without the tqi because it works with the tq.

so if that is powered by the one jts plug how are you suppose to connect your new winch and use this system at the same time?
the winch comes with a y-splitter so you can power both at the same time

I'm thinking the same thing I gave a HW Axe combo ready to fit but I'm pretty sure I will lose turn signals, reverse lights and brake lights.

Actually I have to take back a little of my praise in my earlier comment. Before making the Defender "Pro Scale" light kit I wish Traxxas had bothered to do a "Google images" of a Defender before they started making the set! The front indicators/turn signals should be on the bottom, and should not illuminate when the driving lights are on.
Hey traxxas, how do I get back the hazard, turning and brake lights to work? I messed around with the traxxas link app, and since then I can switch on High and low beam and the reverse lights are working. At some point I pressed and hold the mode button for 5 seconds and a fancy disco light sequence started but I still have no turning, hazard and brake lights. What can I do now?
I did this. How did you reset it? I can't figure it out
@@Sleezax Actually I have no idea how it got back to normal operation. It works since then.
@Sebastian Stange well just for everyone's knowledge. I had to reset my factory steering endpoints. In my button mashing i apparently reset that.

Yes and no. Full LED kit (Traxxas 8030) is NOT compatible with pro scale lights. For TRX4 it includes additional amber, fog and reverse light. Source: official Traxxas site, pro scale lighting mogule, small print at the very bottom. Also official guide for this system confirms it.
Why no rear orange hazard lights?

Does this work with aftermarket Brushless systems? And Transmitters?
Works woth brushless. I have it on a 4tec 2.0 with the 3s Venilion setup . The maxx link cable covers the reverse functions instead of the motpr wire. Good luck figuring out what style connectors traxxas used on the distribution block. I had to use a bunch of female servo ends, shrink wrap them all for no shorts. Would work with a different motor but I don't think it would work with a non traxxas ESC.

too bad you can't turn on and off light from regular transmitter. video shows you need the wireless module and then operate if from you your droid or IOS device.
I know !!! It's ridiculous that you need a wireless device to operate your lights, why make the simple things more difficult. A simple on off button from your transmitter would have been a lot easier. I'm disappointed with this, especially for the money paid. My trick RC lighting system works a lot better and for less money, I wish I would have went that route instead.
I think they should have a system like that for all of Traxxas line up. SMH

Hazard Signals... YES! Turn signals...well, not so much: nobody likes the driver that signals after they start their turn. Put the turn signals on a three-position switch, TRAXXAS, please (thank you for the disable switch!). Also, TAKE MY MONEY! 🤪
Who drives Rc cars at night I’ll have to follow it by walking behind if at night cause u can’t see it
With the lights, it's easy to see the rc, it's the things like trees and other stuff that you can't see is the problem. Those lights don't look bright enough to do any good at night.
