    That's great you shared your tips!,to often i see people complaining of poor fit on kits,without test fitting,and primer and paint add thickness to parts and i don't think they realize that.

      Thanks! I have had that happen to me a few times too. So I learn the hard way sometimes it takes 3-4 times to learn it thou!

    Good tips. There is a putty called milliput you can get off Amazon that may work just as well. I use it for wood turning

    I love those new AMT kits , they provide a new life for those amt ,fun dimension, old kit .You do have to fix the lenght of the Wheel base , then it looks a million

      They are great kits and great donors as well. How many have you used? I have built 2 71 Charger and this is my 4th time using the chassis under a vintage body.

      @@TheMuscleCarModeler a got 3 done 1 in a '74 charger street machine ,1 in a '72 charger nascar //71 it is a real stock body with a fiew after market parts your in the good, 1 I used in a '74 road runner , next in work is '72 road runner , all in MPC kits ,

      Hensley’s Hobbies Lol! I’m almost 47 and he is almost 4. He is our only child and we waited to have him. I gat asked every now and then if he is our grandchild. It does not offend me as it comes with the age. I have thought about doing a video of his interruptions!

      The Muscle Car Modeler - yeah you oughta do a video of that , I believe everyone wouldn’t mind! I was 42 when my youngest daughter came along, so I know what you mean, but cherish them while their little because they grow up quick, seems like! I’ve got 5 kids and everyone of them are grown, my youngest 3 are 25 and younger but My two oldest boys are 38 and 39 now, pretty soon they’ll be having grandkids of their own and I’ll be a great grandpa! Geez! Oh well, it’s life! Take care buddy and stay safe! Peace ✌🏻

    The tips are great, keep them coming. Do you have any tips for doing detail work on the 'tubs', I find trying to get good results with the tub frustrating. So glad they separated the interiors into components.

    Nice tips. More bang for your buck? I use a product called apoxie sculpt. Works just the same. You can even smooth it out with a wet finger. Dries hard and it's sandible.

      It can. It has a small amount of oil in it. Much like your fingerprint.
