If that is Locke's helmet, I wouldn't hold out hope for him surviving the encounter with Hyperius. I saw the name for a leaked action figure of this character that was listed as "Spartan Killer Hyperius" or something along those lines. Could be a fake leak, but if it is indeed Locke's helmet, I think he's dead.

The heros figure of agent Locke has no armor so more then likely he lost his armor but lived

For me this is the set i really really want from all the infinite series, i got 3 marauders and 2 of the small turrets so i want this to have a little banished camp diorama

Great review! I got this AA gun and it is so awesome! I love the grunt and the marine, and hyperious is beautiful! Chief if ok. The AA gun looks so good, and it’s nice to get another mongoose. Great video and keep up the awesome work!

The mongoose is a tiny bit different than the recon getaway version. The grey parts in this one are Camo effect, recon getaway used solid grey.
I think that's mostly random and not really an intentional change

I just got this set. Honestly one of my favorite ever! Price for it was... well let’s not talk about it😅 but I love that you get a mongoose along with a marine and a rare grunt. Hyperious is just an incredibly cool character and the aa gun is just amazing! Wish they made a covenant one from halo 3 but the banished one is cool! Hoping they change the like missile to the old halo 3 beam with its sound because it was just such a powerful sound and I hope they bring it back in the final product of infinite. Honestly just one of the coolest sets and I hope we get more banished sets as large scale as this and more sets with just banished figures. Those are hard to find in my area.
The price for this set has been ALL over the place. Cheap some places, crazy expensive others. It's a pretty great starter set. UNSC figs and vehicle, Banished figs and gun. Solid and well rounded.
@@DemarcationMedia for sure! And if you get some of the blind bags or that banished infantry set with the brute, elite, grunt, and jackal then you got a nice little banished army!
Looks like a set I'll need to pick up! Very scaled down compared to the in-game turret, but I think it still looks great. Probably would go well with the micro Pelican and Phantom in the new blind bags.
Edit: I'm pretty sure $60 is the MSRP

I really hope that locke is still alive and he survived cuz I always loved Spartan lock in his character even when he was a Spartan yet and I a especial delight locke from halo night fall

I have this set, but those black bars inbetween the foot and the main piece won’t go on. I mean like the ones where it’s like a c shape and you have to snap it on to like a beg. One piece at the bottom end will click, but at the top it won’t.
Either you aren't pushing hard enough or the piece is molded wrong

Funfact: The Brute Jump pack was retooled off the og one which could explain why it's so loose
Also, the turret has no controls because this build is like atleast 8x smaller than it should be. These are actually big enough to act as fortresses.

The problem that I see with this set, is that although it looks really good and is very well-built together and comes with good figures, It doesn’t scream Covenant. If I would’ve looked at this, I probably would’ve guessed it was a UNSC set. I wish I had more red on to distinguish it as a Banished Covenant set
Perhaps it once was UNSC...
The banished have a different aesthetic to the covenant.
The convenant were more sleek, ceremonial. The banished, much like the UNSC, are utilitarian. They don't mess around.

Does Hyperius (Craig) have any printing on his Craig headsculpt? I think the eyes are holes but I am not sure. Also is that head re-used for the other brutes?
All the new brutes have the Craig head and so far, I haven't seen any with print

This might sound weird but my figures have this strange factory smell I don’t know if it’s the same for everyone else
And also I was able to get this set for $45 which I think Is really worth it
Definitely is worth it! As for the smell, I can't say I've noticed it, but I'll definitely be looking for it now

If that’s spartan locke’s helmet I hope he is alive, maybe he was defeated by Hyperius but managed to scape and he is just injured and lost his helmet.

they include so many extra pieces so that it is easier to build MOCs and dioramas
I don't think that's their main goal but it certainly is useful

everyone thinks that Aitriox's cousin is called Hyperius but in truth his name is Escarum
Hyperius is definitely not the main dude we saw in the demo. I'm guessing he's a smaller villain.
I don't think that's Locke... It looks like the upper part of a Soldier Helmet, it could be a random Spartan, especially since the jawpiece of his helmet looks like the jaw of the Recruit, maybe Venator gear
I hope so. Though, I don't think that Hyperius' helmet is made from Spartan pieces.

What is a volt action rifle? It was confirmed that it was called the shock rifle.

If you’re going by minifigures this is not to scale at all and should’ve been made as a collector set like the energy sword or the halo ring or the master chief helmet!!
