So one thing I will point out is the fact mega actually made the size accurate and not bigger like they normally do with warthog type vehicles and I appreciate the fact that they are still having blue team in the picture cause they are outstanding
I think the main thing that isn't accurate is the width of the hood

This set looks good for a wave 2 warthog. Mega did you dirty with all the quality control issues. Hope they make a heroes Kelly since this one looks lacking IMO. Let’s go viktor and borous!

In my experience qc w/ mega has been all over the place, tho recently has been sort of a golden age... Hopefully this is just another temporary lapse. Best of luck with the replacement figures!
I'm hoping that this recent odd stock crunch is the cause, since they seemed to try and rush this wave of sets
I think MCX is trying to make their sets a lot cheaper, because covid made people's spending budgets less, but trading off some things that might be a little *too* important. It is especially frustrating when the joints on figures are very stiff, as it makes animating very small movements a big pain. I'm planning on getting this, but I'll be cautious.
Perhaps. I hope they don't cut more corners though. You can actually fix stiff joints most of the time
Technically, a razorback is just a warthog without the machine gun
Imagine if someone made a custom warthog but the front of it a razorback, and the back of it a warthog, a 6 wheel troop transport razorhog
The front of the Razor' is beefier than the 'Hog. But a 6-wheeled fusion would be awesome actually
Brick man 117 has made a long 6 wheeled warthog from 2 warthog rally sets and it looks nice
my friend actually made that but the front was a mix of warthog fronts

I do hope Linda gets included in a future set, because she's the only member of Blue Team who isn't as of yet. I know there's a heroes figure of her in the Gen III style, but they're a bit expensive when the only way you can get them is via international shipping.
A set version would be good, yes
The Razorback looks cool but I noticed the hood seems almost inverted. If you look at the in game pics you will notice that the middle of the hood sits lower than the sides which is the opposite here. Combined with the QC issues and the slightly too small size it isn't great. I will still pick it up if only to complete my collection but it is not a great look for Mega.
Yeah I looked at the in game one later and Mega definitely curved the hood the wrong way
I think this might be the same fault as the Linda without numbers issue.
I think it would be cool if mega did different skin tones for the covenant/banished figures.
Actually, there are different skin tones. This brute has very white skin when compared to the others
@@DemarcationMedia yes I know but I'm meaning some more wild variation, such as the gray grunt from the Halo CE blind bags or the yellowy grunt from the Halo wars 2 blind bags or the nice dark brown grunt from the anniversary blind bags.

@@sugarnumnums6666 Yes, we have gray, lighter tan, darker tan and I think a very very dark gray for the Elites
I think we now have two for each, save for drones and jackals.

I just picked this up on-sale a few days ago. I wasn't to sure about it after watching your review but my set had none of the problems you had. Which is good but man that was so many quality issues. Such a neat set though
The many QC issues basically comes down to a hazard of getting sets in the first or 2nd wave. After a couple batches are churned out, they usually fix the issues

I think we're probably gonna get a heroes Kelly with the number honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a set with Linda, maybe she'll have her numbers as well.
As for this set I plan on getting it, mainly for Kelly and the razorback plus a marine.
We are getting a Linda in the next heroes line up they showed us the pictures but Linda doesn’t have her numbers painted on

We saw Hyperius show up twice, so I wouldn't put anything past Mega
@@DemarcationMedia I fully expect a chief with the right armor parts at some point, a heroes fred with painted knives (dunno why we didn't get them when a blind bag orange fred had em like 6 years ago) and kelly and linda with numbers.
I also think we'll see escharum again in heroes, as well as the pilot.
Man you weee able to get one of these? I have been looking all over trying to find one of these. Anyways, I think this is one of the best sets of the wave! I love all the figs, the build is Gorgeous, and the alt build looks great for making bases! Great review and keep up the amazing work! P.s. it doesn’t matter what he looks like, viktor is viktor, you will know

Hate to ruin the 117 comment number.... but errrr, have I not said that you have the worst luck ever with QC when it comes to figures.
To edit and add some possible thought to the QC differences. If I recall mega's main factory was moved recently wasn't it?
Troop hog was usually about 5.
XD I do seem to have terrible QC issues. Ah well, if anyone gets the bad ones, might as well be me so I can show them off. I had no idea they moved factories. That might account for some issues if they're still getting settled in.
I fiddled more and I got 4 Marines in the back without looking awkward, so my tip is don't try and load the troops around a camera. It's a pain XD

The no step on the hood is very military. They HAVE to state the obvious, just in case. So that was cool and I bet marines still step all over it regardless 😆

I made Kelly the Meta from RvB first off cuz of Halo Heros, and second cuz he was my fav freelancer !
That marine you got was my Marine platoon pack in general. Half the marines had femal torsos which was kind of a jumpscare, i had the same issue with the head you had, and one was like half assembled and I couldnt get it to work. So the only usable ones were the sniper, the technician, and the spartan.

I like the set, the Viktor is awesome in detail, the purple brute is a real model in game which i LOVE, Kelly is decent.

This is a pretty good set I love troop carrier sets just like the hornet blitz, and I don’t really care about the figures so I think I’ll get it. Call in REINFORCEMENTS lol!
Okay, this is maybe my 4th time watching this video but I want to mention that the brute actually has new hands, not sure when this started but the brute chieftain has them. Found this out when I was finally able to find a set in my area. Anyway keep on doing your work and cya.
Just a question but what do you feel about updated molds and colors, I usually feel uncompleted when I don’t have the latest mold or wanting to miss out on a cooler figure but doesn’t have a modern mold (ex: Elite ultra in the heroes series without using prophet hands).
I'm pretty sure the new hand thing started with the Chieftain.
As for the various molds, I just get stuff I think I can use, so if that happens to be a new mold, sure I'll get it. If the new mold isn't helpful to any of my work, then maybe I won't get it.

My opinion on this set:
1.The Razorback is cool like the design I love that you have a lot of space because you can put some marines there and I love the color
2. The figures are good specially that brute which the purple armor looks fantastic really like that they are doing different color armor for brutes, Spartan Kelly tho she doesn’t have a number really love the gold coloring on her leg armor and the shoulder love the white coloring too, the viktor is cool love that he has red weapons, The marine is just a marine it’s ok
3. Overall this set I’m definitely going to buy it
Also I love the new box design
It most certainly is worth the purchase despite its few issues

I bought the red helmet two pack set recently and the yellow spartan has the same issue. My Kelley figure is tight, but the head did go on. Almost didn’t though. I hope they fix this soon.
If you switch out the torso, it usually fixes the issue. The main thing is just getting the torso color to match the rest of the undersuit
Where did you get All the new sets so early? In germany it's Not easy to get the new sets😭
This set is technically released and has been for about a month now here in the US. Stock has just been all over the place
Got a steal for 15 bucks on amazon. For the price I got it this set us unreal. Not sure I would spend 40 like some people are saying.
$15 is very solid. $40 was retail in some places, but $30 was more common and even $20 for awhile
I just ordered this to load some of my ODSTs into, I really wish the older sets were more available because the halo Infinite vehicles sets are just not doing it for me

Apparently he is in his Infinite armor. Even the Jazwares fig is that blue
You know that’s odd that I got a fleetcom warthog set and Riz who’s apparently Kelly’s silver timeline counterpart didn’t have her Spartan number either I wonder if the razorback I ordered will have that issue as well

I feel like the Razorback is the right size. The thing is, they used a Halo 5 Warthog (Halo 5 has the front rails), and made it chunkier than the Infinite Warthog.
I think the front needed to be a bit different
Yeah the waist problem has infested mega for a while, and the feet is also a problem, rarely get the head problem so that sucks that you got it
XD Mega just piled all the issues into my set so I could show the potential problems I guess
I really want this because of its side build like I’ll get one for my unsc base build I’m gonna get some building boxes to help to main thing I can’t wait for this to get to my area

@@DemarcationMedia yeah i am really worried for the falcon set as that is getting scalped to the moon if they do what they did with the 20th anni set and a few other recent ones and cuz it has all of the noble team so there if a very good chance it will be a rare collectors item and for peeps who want it for retail price will have i nightmare getting one including me so i may never get one and my never get one

They're appearing now. The set is going in and out of stock online and some places are stocking them in store now
How do you get replacement figures, since they are not or their parts not listed as numbers in the manuals. Have a few with bad qc as well...
You have to contact customer service directly through email or phonecall. And they do have part numbers, but it's the entire figure that has a number, not the specific part

I just picked up this set at target of all places luckily I didn’t have any of the QC issues with the figures but I don’t like the infinite style marines they’re not bad but they look too much like the call of duty line up

The no step decals are informing the marines they shouldn't step on that portion of the warthog. Most likely because it wont support their body weight. You see it a lot on flight control surfaces on aircraft.
Most likely, though it doesn't seem smart to have fragile surfaces like that on a troop transport
Got same problem with figures waist on my boyz marine and chief from new warthog, i thought it's only me that unlucky

In my experience a lot of my mega figures have the problem with the head what I do is sand the neck ball joint and inside the head socket
I usually just do the neck joint but doing the socket too is a good idea

If Kelly’s shoulder piece was on chiefs shoulder it would not be accurate to the lore or chiefs in game model. I’m not sure why you kept saying it should be on chief, I’m a little confused.
S1 Chief used that armor originally, and that armor design was from The Package which, aside from the helmet, is almost identical to Infinite's armor.
@@DemarcationMedia That's almost, tho. The chief from the most recent Heros wave, plus Pelican Inbound, is spot on.

I had a defect with the brute it’s leg piece was to big to fix it’s leg armor

Why does these cars have suspension and not the others?
As opposed to? The last 4+ Warthogs have had suspension of some sort
Do you have parts for your figs? Because these piece are easily replaceable

I think the neck problem might come from the helmet, I have a different figure with the same head and it's really hard to move the head

The problem in this set is the suspension system because when I change the tires the clips in the suspension system snaps and breaks*....
I haven't had that happen

It isn't confirmed, mostly it's just speculation
A transport hog can hold 5 troopers in the back
I tested a bit more and managed a total of 4 seated in the back
late on this one, but the shoulders are accurate to the infinite master chief, not the ones kelly has.
Close. It's not an exact match but yeah, it's way more accurate than the ones he has.
hey i dont know if anyone else has this idea but i would just swap the torsos for spare marine and female spartan peices i use extras of ones i already have like a have 2 tanakas so i would just swap the torso with kellys hope this helps instead of sending it back to cs!
That's not a bad idea actually. I sent mine back already, that way Mega can know about the issue, but it's a good idea
I fit 10 total on a troophog, granted they were lined up like battle droids in star wars
edit: i fit 11 recently, while I had written the original comment I found out one guy can hold on in the back, so 2 in the front, 4 on each side of the cage, and one in the back
So a troophog definitely can fit more marines, but are they safe in a troophog? XD
