- Progress on QR2 is proceeding well, and I have approached the point where I no longer want to show things off prior to a demo release, as I want to maintain some surprises, even for a demo.
I unfortunately haven't really had much peace and quiet to do live recordings, so doing anything video wise has been difficult.
In the meantime, I will keep plugging away at this.

Since a few people asked on Discord: Wustache isn't dead. No one dies in Classic.
Except Sunstar.
Sunstar ded. Dead as a can of spam. He has ceased to be, bereft of life, he rests in peace, he has kicked the bucket, hopped the twig, bit the dust, snuffed it, breathed his last, and gone to meet the mechanic in the sky. If he wasn't embedded in the rock he'd be pushing up the daisies!
Even timeline alterations couldn't save him.

I can only say one thing: Sunstar's Orb reprograms Megaman to make some evil, just like Dr. Wily in the past.
Okay another question then, since there are both Quint and MegaMan in the future does that mean that Quint has become a paradox?
The fact that you even managed to tie Sunstar into the plot is just amazing.
I love how you put in a detail that Wily made a typo to Quint.

I never thought Rock could get evil energy into him from the remains of Sunstar. It’s up to the reformed Quint to bring Rock back.

After that Quint defeat to Dr. Wily, return his time and back for saw his family ones again, and now... A new enemy arrive and greatest threats toó, and this enemy its Megaman possessed with the gem of Sunstar
Good to see progress, still. Mike Crain really has been a blessing taking care of Revo Remix in your stead, which relieved a whole lot of pressure on your part.
Yeah he had three games at the time he was having to do counting both of these. Hopefully I can keep helping him more with QR2 than I have been trying to do. lol

Glad to see you're still kicking, ACE. This trailer looks absolutely amazing, and if this is any indication about the quality of the game itself, I have a feeling that the Mega Man community is in for a real treat. Keep it up, but don't overwork yourself. You're doing a great thing here.

So, from what I've seen in this intro, I guess that due to the future version of Mega Man being captured by Wily, and turned into Quint, future Dr. Light made another Mega Man in case of future attacks. But, I guess this Mega Man isn't good as the previous Mega Man (the one who becomes Quint), which made him susceptible to Sunstar's evil energy, and being corrupted into evil. I can only guess what's gonna happen to the other Mega Man (not Quint) after the events of the game. But, I'll have to wait for the game to be released to see for myself. Also, I picked up on the Black Knight laugh effect from Shovel Knight.

Perhaps more worrying that the plot itself... if they're using Area 52, what's going on with Area 51? Full capacity? Volatility concerns? Anything that would make it a prime target for the Gem-crazed Megaman?

This is gonna be a wierd game, having mega man as the villain and a gameboy boss as the protagonist.
Something that crashlands from space carrying some energy turns someone evil.

So...That's why Mega Man went berserk...
How are there two Mega Man’s? Quint is the Mega Man from his future timeline, but there’s another one in said timeline being corrupted by the gem’s power. I don’t get it.
The corrupted Mega Man is some clone built by Wily, I guess.
The fact that none of the Light group seems to know who Quint is suggests that something isn't right. I'm guessing that's the other half of the plot, Quint trying to piece together what happened while also trying to stop Mega Man.

I think I have a guess. It's a kind of multi-universe theory. Quint stopping Wily in the past lead to a future where Quint never got kidnapped, but because Quint was in the past, he wasn't erased from history as he is now a being 'of the past'. However, the future has changed dramatically- Since Rock was never captured, Quint never came to be, and because of this, Quint, when returning to the future, returned to the NEW future he created- Which means Mega Man is still there, and Quint is an anomaly.

Y'know, there is some logic missing - the game is at the moment of the present, not Quints time. And if Megaman becomes evil, Quint will also be, because Quint is future Mega Man. And if Quint kills Mega Man at the end - Quint will also die.
I think after the events of Quint's Revenge, Using the Tiem Skimmer Quint came back to his future which was changed due to events of Quint's Revenge where Rock was never captured.
Strange... Sunstar isn't true evil so he can't make anyone evil.
